Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity for a Paid Search and Display Marketing Executive to join our Performance Marketing Team!

This is a great opportunity for a digitally savvy individual with experience working in search marketing, looking to take the next step in their career. Most importantly, we're looking to recruit a passionate, engaged, and ambitious individual who is proactive and eager to learn!

The main purpose of this role is to support the paid search team with PPC activity that drives the performance and achieves business goals.

Reporting into the Paid Search Marketing Manager you will support with the planning, delivery and reporting of brand aligned, ROI maximised, effective and efficient Display and PPC marketing activity.

The role sits with the Digital Delivery Group and has a global remit, covering all regions.

You will be responsible for:

  • Supporting the Paid Search team with developing PPC strategies that deliver on key business objectives
  • PPC Account Management at every stage of the campaign lifecycle, including planning, set-up, optimisation and reporting
  • Daily monitoring of campaign performance, including flagging anomalies or issues to the Paid Search Manager
  • Making routine campaign changes to ad copy, bid adjustments and budget pacing under the guidance of the Paid Search Manager
  • Working with the Paid Search Manager to identify areas of improvement and business growth across our PPC campaigns
  • Supporting the Paid Search Manager with delivering performance insights and managing relationships with internal stakeholders
  • Working with the Paid Search Manager on collaborating with internal teams to ensure campaign strategy and spend plans are fully optimised and drive the best possible conversions and maximise ROI
  • Keeping up to date with the latest developments and trends across all facets of PPC to become a subject matter expert for paid search marketing across T&F
  • Champion the Paid Search team's reputation through exemplary communication with internal teams and stakeholders, ensuring all commitments and SLAs are met consistently

Qualifications

  • Self-starter – keen to learn, develop and take on new challenges
  • Hands-on experience across Google Ads and/or Microsoft Ads
  • Meticulous approach to every step of the campaign lifecycle
  • Experience working cross-functionally with internal or external teams
  • Analytical mindset and critical thinking, able to analyse data and make data-driven proposals
  • Strong time management and organisational skills; attention to detail and accuracy are crucial
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (written and verbal)
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Excel

The successful candidate will be able to utilise our balanced working model. We ask that candidates live within a commutable distance of our offices to ensure that as a balanced worker they can make it to our office locations to collaborate as required. There is an expectation for a minimum of 3 days per week in-person time, with those 3 days a week spent in our office in Milton Park, Oxfordshire. 

Please note that our Milton Park office will be relocating to Oxford city centre in late 2027 / early 2028, offering an exciting new workplace in the heart of the city.
