About this opportunity:
We are looking for an experienced PA JDC OSAT Project Manager to drive Ericsson radio product industrialization and production ramp-up activities with external manufacturing partners.
In this role, you will act as the key interface between Ericsson and OSAT/ASE manufacturing partners during NPI execution. You will be responsible for aligning project timelines, coordinating manufacturing readiness, managing risks, and ensuring successful product introduction from engineering build to mass production.
You will work closely with Design Engineering, Production Engineering, Test Engineering, Design Quality Engineering, Reliability Engineering, Product Management and external manufacturing partners to secure on-time delivery, product quality, cost targets and production readiness.
What you will do:
Project management and timeline control
• Own and drive the overall NPI execution plan, project timeline and key milestones.
• Align specific project schedules with OSAT/ASE and manufacturing partners.
• Coordinate wafer, material and key component readiness to support project execution.
• Monitor and control assembly, test and backend process timelines.
• Track NPI progress and provide regular project status updates to stakeholders.
Cross-functional coordination
• Drive collaboration across R&D, Operations, Quality, Reliability and Manufacturing teams.
• Act as the primary Ericsson interface toward external manufacturing partners during NPI execution.
• Strengthen working relationships between Ericsson and ASE/OSAT stakeholders at different levels.
• Facilitate escalation handling, issue resolution and timely decision making.
Risk management
• Identify and evaluate delivery risks related to materials, equipment, capacity, resources and lead time.
• Define mitigation actions, follow up execution status and drive risk closure.
• Ensure project risks are communicated clearly and escalated when needed.
NPI execution and production ramp-up
• Lead project execution during engineering build, pilot build and production ramp-up phases.
• Coordinate manufacturing change activities and ensure execution according to project plans.
• Drive qualification, reliability and production readiness activities together with related functions.
• Support process management and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Secure delivery commitments regarding schedule, quality and production readiness.
On-site production support
• Support production follow-up at manufacturing sites when needed.
• Coordinate problem handling and drive issue feedback loops.
• Collect, record and report production data for project decision making.
• Support quality control and manufacturing readiness reviews.
The skills you bring:
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics Engineering, Telecommunications, Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent.
• Strong understanding of New Product Introduction (NPI), industrialization and manufacturing project execution.
• Experience in electronics manufacturing, semiconductor packaging, RF products or telecom hardware development.
• Proven ability to coordinate cross-functional teams and external suppliers.
• Strong project management, stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Familiarity with manufacturing processes, production ramp-up and supply chain coordination.
• Solid capability in risk identification, issue tracking and schedule control.
• Good written and spoken English communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a global and multicultural environment.
