The worlds of energy, transport and artificial intelligence are colliding and Ohme is at the heart of this new era. By using technology and data integrations to connect cars, chargers, people, energy providers and more, Ohme has a powerful platform that puts the consumer at the core.

Ohme has been selling its chargers to consumers since mid 2019 and has had exponential growth since. We are now operating in multiple countries and have partnerships with the likes of VW, Mercedes, Octopus Energy, and other innovative brands.

We are looking for an Organisational Development Manager to help us build the people infrastructure that matches our ambitions. Reporting into the Chief of Staff, you will lead the development and execution of our people capability strategy, ensuring that OD practices and interventions enable our rapid scale-up growth, drive a high-performance culture, and strengthen leadership and organisational outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Own and deliver the organisational development strategy, aligning people capability, structure and ways of working to business priorities and growth plans.
  • Strengthen organisational effectiveness and culture, embedding values, engagement, inclusion and high-performance practices across the organisation.
  • Design and lead leadership and capability development, building strong managers, future leaders and clear career pathways to support sustainable growth.
  • Use organisational insight and data to diagnose needs, shape interventions and measure the impact of OD initiatives.
  • Partner with senior leaders as a trusted advisor, supporting organisational change, transformation and decision-making in a fast-growing environment.

Who you are

  • Strategic and commercial: You understand the link between people capability and business performance, and you know how to build OD strategies that move the needle.
  • Trusted advisor: You build strong relationships with senior leaders and are confident influencing at the top of the business. You bring challenge, support and clarity in equal measure.
  • Evidence-based: You use data, diagnostics and feedback to shape priorities and demonstrate impact. You don’t do OD for OD’s sake.
  • Builder mindset: You thrive in fast-moving environments where not everything is defined yet. You’re energised by the opportunity to create things that last.
  • Clear communicator: You can bring people along on complex change journeys, making the purpose and the path feel simple and achievable.

Our benefits:

  • Competitive salary and bonus
  • Hybrid office (4 days per week in office)
  • Private Health Insurance
  • Aegon Pension Scheme
  • Life Assurance Scheme with death in service benefit of 4x salary
  • Income Protection Scheme for long term illness
  • Ride to Work Scheme
  • Payroll Giving Scheme
  • Season Ticket Loan to spread cost of travel over 12 months
