About the Role
Namos is creating a senior, client-facing role to continue our Oracle Technology growth, by bridging initial commercial conversations and the start of detailed solution design and delivery. The Oracle Technology Solutions Director will help prospective and existing clients understand what is possible across the Oracle technology landscape, why it matters to their organisation and what a proportionate next step should look like.
This is neither a traditional sales role nor a delivery consulting position. Sales colleagues will typically create the opportunity. The successful candidate will then bring the technical breadth, consultative approach and executive credibility needed to develop the conversation with CIOs, CTOs, IT Directors, enterprise architects and other senior stakeholders.
The role will translate business and technology challenges into clear, outcome-led propositions across Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, database and data platforms, integration, APIs, automation, application extensions, low-code, security, analytics and emerging AI capabilities.
It will shape opportunities far enough to establish value, scope, direction and client confidence, before engaging the appropriate Namos specialists for detailed architecture, estimation and delivery.
Alongside shaping active opportunities, the role will build Namos’ profile and help create market demand for its Oracle technology services. The successful candidate will bring a credible external voice to the market, helping to turn technical expertise, client insight and emerging industry themes into compelling propositions, thought leadership and conversations that engage prospective clients.
Essential Requirements

  • Significant experience in Oracle technology consulting, pre-sales, solution architecture, advisory services or a comparable client-facing role
  • Broad understanding of the Oracle technology ecosystem, including strong familiarity with OCI and several of the following: Oracle Database, data platforms, integration, APIs, automation, APEX or other low-code services, identity and security, analytics and AI
  • A track record of engaging credibly with CIO, CTO, IT Director and senior architecture stakeholders
  • Ability to discover business and technology needs and translate them into clear, outcome-led solution propositions
  • Experience shaping opportunities before detailed architecture, estimation and delivery mobilisation
  • Strong presentation, facilitation, storytelling and written communication skills
  • Commercial awareness, including the ability to balance client value, technical feasibility, delivery risk and commercial viability
  • Ability to work collaboratively across sales, marketing, architecture, consulting and managed services teams
  • Sound judgement about when to provide direction, when to challenge and when to involve deeper specialist expertise

Desirable

  • Experience gained within Oracle, an Oracle partner, an Oracle-focused consultancy or a major systems integrator
  • Current or recent Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, database, integration, data or AI accreditation
  • Experience developing or presenting executive-level cloud, data, integration, modernisation or AI roadmaps
  • Experience supporting public sector, higher education or large enterprise clients
  • Understanding of Oracle Fusion Applications and how the wider Oracle technology stack supports, integrates with and extends ERP, HCM, Payroll and EPM services
  • Experience supporting formal bids, tenders, demonstrations, discovery workshops and proposition development
  • An established network within the Oracle customer and partner ecosystem
