Position Responsibilities

Design, build, and support Oracle EPM Cloud solutions, with a strong focus on EPBCS, to enable accurate financial planning, forecasting, and reporting. Translate business and finance requirements into well-designed EPBCS models, calculations, and data integrations that align with enterprise standards. Participate in the full development lifecycle—from requirements gathering and design to build, testing, deployment, and ongoing support. Ensure EPM applications are scalable, reliable, well-documented, and easy for business users to adopt.

What You Will Do

  • Business Rule & Calculation Logic: Develop and optimize business rules, Groovy scripts, and calculation logic to support planning, forecasting, allocations, and what-if analysis.
  • Data Integration & Automation: Build and support data integrations using Data Management, EPM Automate, REST APIs, and flat files to load actuals, targets, and reference data from source systems.
  • Operational Excellence: Follow best practices for testing, validation, performance tuning, security setup, and change management to ensure stable and predictable releases.
  • Business Partnership: Work closely with FP&A, Finance, and IT stakeholders to understand requirements, clarify assumptions, and deliver solutions that meet business needs.
  • Documentation & Support: Create clear technical and functional documentation. Provide production support, troubleshoot issues, and assist during forecast and close cycles.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to simplify models, improve performance, automate processes, and enhance user experience within EPBCS.
  • Cross-Module EPM Exposure: Work with and support integrations between EPBCS and other Oracle EPM Cloud modules, including FCCS, EPCM, and EDM.
  • Narrative Reporting Support: Assist in developing and maintaining Narrative Reporting reports and packages to support management commentary and financial narratives.

Who You Are

  • Working knowledge of EPCM, FCCS, EDM, and Narrative Reporting.
  • Solid understanding of financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes.
  • Experience building dimensions, forms, business rules, and data integrations in EPBCS.
  • Familiar with Groovy scripting, EPM Automate, Data Management, and basic REST API concepts.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to debug calculation and data issues.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work directly with finance partners.
  • Comfortable working independently while collaborating within a broader EPM or Finance Systems team.
