Operations Manager

Operations Manager/Transport Manager 

Salary: £43,000 per annum  plus performance bonus, company car/car cash allowance, private medical cover, pension and many other Veolia benefits.

Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week (Monday to Friday)

Location: Bristol

What you'll be doing;

• Deliver strong operational and financial performance whilst maintaining high levels of customer service.

• Manage people and assets to deliver/exceed service expectations.

• Managing operations against Veolia minimum requirements.

• Nominated Transport Manager with overall responsibility for fleet management and compliance. Including Driver hours, Tachograph infringements and fleet maintenance booking. 

• Utilise data to improve operational performance, supporting coordinators and Business Managers.

• Responsible for day to day management of Operatives, staff and site based support to ensure site capability/capacity is maximised.

• Delivery of a first time collection culture.

What we're looking for;

• Transport CPC.

• Previous waste management experience.

• Level 3 Leadership & Management or equivalent work experience.

• IOSH managing safely - desirable.

• Previous experience managing a large team.

• Previous fleet management experience.

• Ability to utilise data and financial management experience.
