The role

  • The role will ensure the day to day running of a number of key EU distributors and E-commence orders.
  • The key responsibilities include managing order entries, interacting with internal and external customers via emails. Covering all aspects from order placement to shipment, liaising with distributors on availabilities, stock issues, credit/claim queries and delivery timeframes.
  • Working closely with our 3PL and EU Sales team to ensure orders are processed and collected on time in full.
  • You will also gain knowledge to support other team members, process new account openings and set up new markets according to requirement.

What you will do

Customer Service and Operations

  • Order entry & processing EDI and manual orders
  • Monitoring of the Customer Service mailbox
  • Assist with customer’s queries that include delivery and leadtime
  • Investigate shortages and claims
  • Work closely with internal sales and operational teams
  • Liaising with the warehouse on delivery and packing requirements
  • Collaboration with 3PLs to ensure orders are processed and shipped out on time
  • Ensure all necessary export documentation is crated and distributed in a timely manner
  • Provide product information as required to fulfil customer requests
  • Work closely with customers and provide proactive communication and availability updates
  • Seek to understand requirements of specific markets to ensure that customs challenges are minimised
  • Support sample order distribution
  • Process invoices on financial system

Compliance

  • Ensure all activities are carried out in compliance with relevant Acts, legal requirements and ethical standards
  • Maintain a sound knowledge of the businesses and risks
  • Ensure compliance and promotes adherence to the Bondi Sands culture, values, policies and standards
  • Ensure personal adherence to workplace health and safety requirements and either addresses or brings to management’s attention when others are in breach of these requirements.

What you will need

  • Minimum A-level education. Bachelor’s degree in Business related discipline preferred.
  • At least 3 years experience in customer service/admin within an FMCG, logistics or supply chain is ideal.
  • Ability to prioritise workload, deliver on deadlines, and build strong relationships.
  • Accuracy and attention to detail are essential.
  • Strong internal and external communication skills with excellent English language proficiency.
  • Ability to deal with numbers and large data set.
  • SAP knowledge is desired but not essential; proficiency in Microsoft applications is required.
  • Experience of international Logistics, understanding of global customs complexity and regulation and dealing with UK into EU shipping (desirable).
  • Familiarity with EU distributors and wholesale business and international trade (desirable).
