Job Title: Operational Planning Support Coordinator
Job Grade: A12

Salary: From £29,700 DOE and location + Fantastic benefits
Location status: Hybrid (flexible working options available)
Location: Bupa Place, Salford – Willow House, Staines

Permanent/fixed term contract: Permanent
Shift pattern: Full-time 37.5hrs

About the role

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Operational Planning Support Co‑ordinator to join our Operational Planning team. This is a varied and fast-paced role where you will play a key part in supporting the wider Planning function, ensuring critical processes are delivered accurately and within agreed service levels.

Working closely with colleagues across the business, you will help maintain workforce planning systems, support contact centre operations, and identify opportunities to improve processes and performance.

Key Responsibilities

As an Operational Planning Support Co‑ordinator, you will:

  • Administer the Workforce Management (WFM) system, supporting joiners, movers and leavers (JML) processes
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date schedules by managing exceptions such as absence, training, and shift changes
  • Produce and distribute daily and weekly performance reports
  • Identify and escalate any risks, gaps, or issues to the Resource Planning team
  • Maintain and update process documentation to ensure accuracy and relevance
  • Manage telephony routing documentation, including creation of routing maps across business lines
  • Work collaboratively with the wider Operational Planning team, contributing ideas and feedback for continuous improvement

About You

We’re looking for someone who is organised, curious, and confident working with systems and data. You will have a keen eye for detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

You will also have:

  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain changes and updates
  • A curious mindset with the ability to quickly learn new systems and technologies
  • Critical thinking skills to identify gaps and anticipate potential issues
  • The confidence to escalate and suggest improvements where needed

Skills & Experience

Essential / desirable experience includes:

  • Experience using a Workforce Management (WFM) system
  • Experience working with contact centre technology
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Word
