This team will play a crucial role in enabling the ongoing transformation of our agencies and functions.

Become a key player in securing WPP's global identity landscape! We're seeking a driven OKTA expert to architect, engineer, and champion our identity and access management platform. You'll own everything from design and development to deployment and integration, even leading migrations to future-proof our IDAM strategy. What you'll be doing:

  • Be part of a new in-house OKTA technical team leading support of a complex platform and a large, diverse user base
  • Liaise with internal OpCo’s and external customers from a support perspective delivering a first-class service experience
  • Liaise with Identity engineering teams to ensure a bridge between support and engineering for a variety of build and migration projects from legacy identity systems
  • Ensure that audit standards are adhered to in regard to attestations and management of identities and service accounts
  • Work with the Information Security teams to maximise the security of policies and solutions and provide support for any ongoing remediations or investigations
  • Assist in reporting on all aspects of the OKTA & Directory Services environments for security and audit requirements
  • Support the implementation of strategic IDAM objectives in conjunction with the IDAM Architects
  • Provide IDAM consultancy services and 3rd line technical support to our CoE and global technical community
  • Provide support to application integrations into the OKTA service for the purpose of authentication and authorisation
  • Coaching, mentoring, and leading the Okta Platform Engineers, to develop their skills and understand the impact they are making across the organization
  • Set Up Org2org and SCIM Configuration In OKTA
  • Provide IDAM consultancy services and 3rd line technical support to our CoE and global technical community
  • Manage designated technical team members
  • Maintain CMDB & Service Catalogue & technical documentation relating to IDAM configuration items
  • Participate in the IDAM Change Management process

What you'll need:

  • Certified to OKTA Consultant level or equivalent in another Identity product
  • An expert understanding of IDAM solutions, in particular: Okta, Azure AD, Active Directory, G-Suite, AWS
  • An understanding of SSO implementations including SAML/OpenID integrations
  • Technical experience in IDAM support & implementations
  • High experience with conditional access controls on access management solutions (e.g., Azure AD, Okta)
  • Product management
  • Collaboration skills
  • Knowledge of AD/LDAP, AAD, AADC, SCCM, Citrix, Okta, Group Policy
  • Experience of working in global, complex environments
  • Define and track service delivery KPIs, reporting on performance to internal stakeholders
  • Ability to take ownership of service incidents, ensuring timely resolution and effective communication with stakeholders
  • Great verbal & written communication & interpersonal skills
  • Good problem-solving, abstraction & critical-thinking skills
  • Pragmatic approach, proactivity & autonomy
  • Willing to travel globally and comfortable working within remote teams
