Job Summary:

Senior Support Specialists who are product specialists supporting the development and administration of public and private Healthcare, and financial sectors, both in the UK and internationally, working with advanced healthcare technologies, multiple operating systems, complex networks, and hosted environments in the cloud and on-premises.

This is an office based role, and the first 3 months will be fully office based in our Windsor, UK location. 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to a smart, cooperative, problem-solving team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Deliver customer solutions in accordance with InterSystems service standards.
  • Work with a broad range of proven and cutting-edge technologies in areas including object, web, relational, networking, storage, high availability, performance, integration, cloud, and database.
  • Continuous self-learning and gaining an in-depth knowledge of these technologies.
  • Develop leadership skills working with developers, managers, and other stakeholders.
  • Follow a career path with InterSystems core database technology, application development tools, applications integration, system performance, or solution architecture.
  • Encouraged to develop and apply creative problem-solving tools and skills.
  • Acquire expert knowledge to act as a mentor or a go-to-person on specific technologies.

 

Job Requirements:

  • BSc in Computer Science, Engineering or hard Science, or equivalent qualification
  • Very strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Programming experience in a software language utilized by InterSystems’ products
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Passion for solving complex interesting problems
  • Experience with developing debugging tools for Unix/Linux or Windows environments
  • Ability to lead technical discussions with senior developers and managers
  • A high level of understanding of interface development is an advantage.
