The Mission

At Fyxer, we believe the only sustainable competitive advantage for a startup is the quality and speed of execution. We're looking for an Office Manager to own the day-to-day experience of our London headquarters four days a week. This role is about creating a well-organised, high-energy office where people have what they need to do great work and enjoy being together.

What You Will Own

  • Own the physical office environment - layout, cleanliness, decor and overall vibe. You set the standard for what the space looks and feels like.

  • Manage office supplies, snacks and refreshments, keeping everything stocked and the space running smoothly.

  • Ensure employees have the IT equipment and tools they need, coordinating with internal teams and external partners as required.

  • Own the onboarding experience for new London hires, making sure they have everything they need to be productive from day one.

  • Organise and lead cultural moments - team events, celebrations, seasonal activities and daily rituals that make our culture thrive.

  • Be the first point of contact for all office-related questions, issues and vendors including managing relationships with our co-working provider (Fora), catering, cleaning, maintenance and any other third-party suppliers.

  • Manage office access, guest registration and security protocols to maintain a safe and welcoming environment.

  • Own AV setup and operations across all meeting rooms and company-wide events, including our weekly all-hands — ensuring a seamless, high-quality experience every time.

  • Support health, safety and basic office compliance to keep the space running like clockwork.

  • Identify opportunities to improve office operations and build processes that scale as we grow.

  • Orchestrate and own the logistics for office moves as and when required.

The Role

  • Own the Environment: Take full responsibility for the functionality and feel of our London office. From layout and decor to cleanliness, you ensure the physical space is a premium, welcoming place that reflects our culture.

  • Remove Friction: Proactively identify and solve the small hurdles that slow the team down. Whether it's tech equipment, office supplies or snacks, you ensure everyone has exactly what they need to stay focused and productive.

  • Cultural Catalyst: Design and lead the moments that bring us together. You'll be the architect of our in-office experience, organising team events, seasonal celebrations and daily rituals that make our culture thrive.

  • Operational Excellence: Act as the primary point of contact for all things office-related. You'll juggle vendor relationships, IT coordination and compliance with high attention to detail, keeping the day-to-day running seamlessly.

Who You Are

  • 3+ years of experience in an office manager, workplace operations or similar role.

  • Proven track record managing the day-to-day running of a busy office, ideally in a fast-paced or high-growth environment.

  • Hands-on AV experience managing meeting room technology and large-format company events such as all-hands — you're comfortable troubleshooting on the fly and ensuring everything runs without a hitch.

  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail and follow-through - nothing slips through the cracks.

  • Comfortable juggling multiple priorities and making quick decisions when things move fast.

  • Warm, proactive and service-oriented, with a genuine interest in people and culture.

  • A forward-thinking operator who anticipates needs before they surface and builds processes to prevent problems recurring.

  • Strong communicator, comfortable working across all levels - from senior leadership to external vendors and office guests.

Nice to Have

  • Experience owning or scaling office operations in a high-growth technology company.

  • Familiarity with tools like Slack, Notion, Google Workspace and modern office management software.

Why Fyxer?

We are intentional about our team. We believe a small, exceptional team working with extreme focus will always outperform a large, bloated organisation.

  • Autonomy: We hire people who want ownership and then we actually give it to them.

  • Velocity: You will be fast-tracked into senior responsibilities far earlier than at a traditional company.

  • Scale: We are on track to hit $100M in revenue by the end of 2026. This is a rare opportunity to join a high-growth company at the foundational stage.

  • AI-First: We use AI to move faster with higher-quality results across the whole company - from engineering to operations. You'll be supported with the best tools to do your best work.
