Hello. We’re Teya.

Teya was founded on a simple belief: local businesses deserve better.

They are the cafés, restaurants, salons, shops and entrepreneurs that bring character to our high streets, create jobs and keep communities moving. Yet for too long, financial services has made life harder for them - with clunky tools, poor support and complexity that gets in the way of running a business.

Teya exists to change that.

We’re building a financial platform for local businesses across Europe - one built around simple tools, thoughtful design and real human support. Our Members rely on us to help them run their business with confidence, and that responsibility shapes the way we work.

We move fast. We care about quality. We stay close to the detail. And we believe great performance and genuine hospitality should go hand in hand.

If you want to build meaningful products, solve real problems and make a genuine difference for local businesses, we’d love to hear from you

Your Mission:

Hospitality isn’t just something we talk about at Teya - it’s how we want every guest, visitor and colleague to feel when they walk through our doors. You’ll be the glue between our EA team and front of house, making sure the right thing is in the right room at the right time. This could be anything from setting up for the leadership team to making sure every visitor feels looked after.

You’ll be the person who makes meetings happen seamlessly, welcomes guests the Teya way, and keeps the details in check behind the scenes. It’s a hands-on, varied role with a genuine development pathway: you’ll shadow our EAs, learn how senior diaries are managed, and take on more as your confidence grows. If you’re looking for a first step towards a career as an Executive Assistant, this is it.

The Role

Meetings & Events

• Set up meeting rooms ahead of senior leadership meetings - getting the layout right, testing the AV and making sure water and refreshments are ready.

• Reset and tidy rooms afterwards so they’re ready for the next booking.

• Help manage room bookings and flag any clashes before they become a problem.

• Support with the logistics for team events and off-sites.

Hospitality

• Make sure every guest and visitor experience lives up to Teya standards - from refreshments and catering to a proper, warm welcome.

• Collect and set up lunches and catering deliveries.

• Keep the CEO’s office stocked with drinks and essentials, and looking tidy.

Reception & Front of House

• Provide reception cover during sickness and holidays.

• Handle deliveries, post and couriers while covering reception.

General Support

• Help with travel and expenses admin.

• Pick up ad hoc requests from across the team with a can-do attitude.

Your EA Pathway

• Shadow the Executive Assistant team and learn how senior diaries are managed.

• Take on diary and calendar support as you build confidence.

• Get involved in ad hoc projects across the team.

Your Story:

• Experience in a hospitality, airline, customer service or similar guest-facing role is desirable - you know what great service looks and feels like.

• A natural host: warm, professional and confident welcoming people at every level, from visitors to senior executives.

• Excellent attention to detail - you notice the small things and take pride in getting them right.

• Organised and proactive, able to juggle multiple tasks, anticipate what’s needed and stay calm when plans change.

• Discreet and trustworthy, comfortable working alongside senior leaders and handling confidential information.

• Comfortable with everyday tools such as Google Workspace or Microsoft Office, and keen to learn new systems.

• Ambitious to grow - you’re excited about learning from our EA team and building a career in executive support.

Working Pattern:

This is an on-site role based in our office. There’s some flexibility to work from home occasionally, but whenever an Executive is in the office, we’ll need you there too.

The Perks
  • We trust you, so we offer flexible working hours, as long it suits both you and you team

  • Physical and mental health support through our partnership with Wellhub giving free access to over 1,500 gyms in the UK, 1-1 therapy, meditation sessions, digital fitness and nutrition apps

  • Our company offers extended and improved maternity and paternity leave choices, giving employees more flexibility and support

  • Cycle-to-Work Scheme

  • Health and Life Insurance

  • Pension Scheme

  • 25 days of Annual Leave (+ Bank Holidays)

  • Office snacks every day

  • Friendly, comfortable and informal office environment in Central London

Teya is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.

We are committed to creating an inclusive environment where everyone regardless of race, ethnicity, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, age, disability, religion, or background can thrive and do their best work. We believe that a diverse team leads to better ideas, stronger outcomes, and a more supportive workplace for all.

If you require any reasonable adjustments at any stage of the recruitment process whether for interviews, assessments, or other parts of the application—we encourage you to let us know. We are committed to ensuring that every candidate has a fair and accessible experience with us.
