About our Clients

Our client, based in Gosforth, is looking for a very experienced Manager to join them on their exciting journey to extend their Nursery provision.  You will need to have experience of setting up and opening a setting, or of being part of an acquisition, together with experience of growing occupancy and nursery team.  You will need to have experience in the financials of running a nursery, and be able to work alongside the Finance team on the business side of running a nursery.  Ideally you will have taken a setting, with your team through a recent Ofsted Inspection and fully up to date on all new legislation and the EYFS.

Based on a 40 hr working week, salary is up to £50k depending on experience, together with Bonuses, 25 days annual leave plus Bank Holidays.

Requirements

Essential for the Nursery Manager Role
Level 3 or above Early Years / Childcare qualification (full and relevant)
Minimum 4 years’ experience in early years, including 2 years’ in a management or team-leading role
Experience leading or supporting Ofsted inspections
Strong knowledge of EYFS, safeguarding, and health & safety practices
Experience managing nursery teams, occupancy, and budgets
Deliver high-quality care and learning while ensuring compliance with statutory requirements
