Job description

The team

We provide strategic analysis and advice to the Hitachi Vantara sales leadership in Northern EMEA region (UK & Ireland, Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Finland, Africa, Middle East & Pakistan) supporting planning, decision-making and forecast management to enable the business to focus on Customers and on leading the sales organisation to success.  Our team is highly visible, working closely with leaders across Inside Sales, Commercial and Enterprise Accounts segments, with responsibility for translating the sales strategy into an operating model and collaboration is critical to our success.
 

The role

This role acts as a strategic partner to Northern EMEA Sales leadership, translating sales strategy into a scalable, high-performing operating model. You will lead a regional Sales Operations team, supporting the RVP with data-driven insights, forecasting, planning, and execution of go-to-market initiatives. As a key advisor, you will assess coverage, productivity, and pipeline health, identifying opportunities to improve performance and drive consistency across the business.
 

You will own core sales operations processes, including forecasting cadence, quota allocation, territory design, and performance management. Working closely with global and cross-functional teams, you will ensure alignment with broader frameworks while adapting to regional needs. The role requires a balance of strategic thinking and operational execution to enhance deal velocity, strengthen data governance, and enable the sales organisation to focus on delivering customer success and achieving growth targets.

What you´ll bring:

  • Experience leading and developing Sales Operations or Revenue Operations teams
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence senior sales leadership
  • Expertise in forecasting, pipeline management, and sales performance metrics
  • Proven experience in quota setting, territory planning, and resource optimization
  • Ability to translate global strategies into regional execution within a matrix environment
  • Strong analytical mindset, using data to drive decisions and identify performance gaps
  • Experience improving sales processes and driving operational efficiency
  • Collaborative approach across Finance, HR, Marketing, and Sales functions
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills in a fast-paced, visible role
  • Background in complex B2B or technology sales environments
