About the role
How would you like to finish each day knowing you’ve made a real difference? At Blackbaud, we develop software solutions that empower non-profit organisations to make a meaningful impact in the world, and as part of our Professional Services team, you’ll play a key role in that mission.
This role sits within our Consulting and Pre-Sales function, working closely with Sales Representatives, Technical Consultants, and Project Managers. You’ll act as a trusted advisor throughout the client lifecycle, supporting both new prospects and existing customers. Your focus will be on presenting and delivering Blackbaud solutions in a compelling, value-based way, ultimately helping organisations optimise their fundraising and operational success through technology.
To succeed, you’ll need strong presentation skills, the ability to lead conversations confidently, and a solid understanding of how CRM systems underpin fundraising strategies. You’ll combine technical knowledge with business insight to design solutions that address complex challenges and demonstrate measurable impact.
What you’ll do
Deliver presentations to diverse audiences, from executives to end users
Leading discovery and initial requirements gathering sessions with customers and prospects, translating key pain points into solution opportunities.
Take insights from requirements gathering to prepare and showcase tailored solutions through presentations and product demos
Collaborate with sales and technical teams to develop proposals and RFP responses, ensuring submissions meet client requirements and highlight solution capabilities
Deliver workshops for customers with new, or existing Blackbaud software
Gathering and analysing information and using it to develop effective solutions to problems; devising workable solutions; raising risks and implementing fixes
Mediating to reach agreements where there is difference of opinion between stakeholders
Completing system design workshops; data mapping; supporting user acceptance testing (UAT); functionality testing; workflow design; best practice improvements; data health checks; data quality testing; data migrations (imports/exports); database configuration and supporting customers going through organisational change
What you'll bring
Experience working with CRM Solutions in the non-profit sector or in a professional services setting
Proven ability to deliver engaging presentations to varied audiences
Problem-solving and analytical skills, with experience handling tasks in parallel
Understanding of fundraising systems, workflows, best practices and how they enhance fundraising activities
Experience with Blackbaud CRM Solutions including Raiser’s Edge NXT (preferred)
Track record of building and maintaining stakeholder relationships to drive engagement and deliver collaborative, innovative solutions
