Your Role: Network Producer, Capital

Are you ready to join the UK’s biggest hit music radio brand? We’re looking for an experienced Producer to join the world-class team at Capital, working with some of the biggest names in radio.

As a Network Producer at Global, you’ll be the creative driving force behind Capital Mid-Mornings with Kemi Rodgers and Capital Afternoons with Aimee Vivian, shaping the sound of two of our most popular network shows.

As a Network Producer, Capital at Global, you will:

Key Responsibilities

  • Live production: Run the live studio environment for Capital’s flagship shows, ensuring every link sounds sharp, engaging and on-brand.

  • Talent collaboration: Mentor, guide and give constructive feedback to presenters during and after the show, helping them deliver their best every day.

  • Planning and delivery: Plan, craft and deliver world-class on-air content and show features, producing, collating and distributing all scripts and show planning documents.

  • Brand integration: Deliver the show brief in line with Capital’s priorities, working closely with the wider team to create content that drives engagement, especially on Global Player.

  • Built strong, trusted relationships with your presenters and the wider Capital programming team.

  • Demonstrated a clear grasp of Capital’s audience and content filter in your day-to-day output.

  • Developed a topical content plan for your shows for the coming months.

  • Built a close, collaborative partnership with Capital’s digital team and become instrumental in driving our digital content strategy, especially on Global Player.

What You’ll Need

  • Significant producer experience with a track record of delivering top-performing radio shows.

  • The ability to manage big personalities and stay calm and focused under pressure.

  • A strong creative streak, full of ideas, and the ability to inspire creativity in others.

  • Experience bringing the best out of on-air talent, from established presenters to emerging voices who benefit from clear guidance.

  • A passion for Capital’s content and music, and a sharp understanding of how to engage a 15–34 audience across platforms.

  • Strong communication skills, adapting your style to work effectively with presenters, teammates, management and clients.

  • High attention to detail to ensure consistently high-quality output.

  • Confidence using digital platforms and creating digital content that helps drive users to Global Player.
