The Opportunity
  • Lead global operations for the Network Control (NC) organization, ensuring best‑in‑class engineering and project execution across all regions.
  • Serve as a key direct report to the Network Control General Manager, helping steer global revenue delivery and operational performance.
  • Own and continuously improve the full NC project execution process, enhancing efficiency, accountability, and delivery quality.
  • Shape and optimize the global resource footprint, ensuring capacity, capability, and alignment with business demand.
  • Represent Network Control in major global project review forums, ensuring operational excellence and performance transparency.
  • Be part of a business at the forefront of electrification and sustainable energy transformation.
How You’ll Make an Impact
  • Drive financial and operational KPIs including OCF, gross margin, delivery milestones, and execution consistency.
  • Lead and develop the global engineering organization, strengthening tools, methodologies, and engineering standards.
  • Implement and maintain the global S&OP process, ensuring alignment between demand planning, resource allocation, and delivery readiness.
  • Oversee cost allocation processes, ensuring accurate attribution to projects and sales activities.
  • Manage onboarding, availability, and delivery of technical and operational training across the global NC organization.
  • Continuously optimize NC operations by identifying process gaps, harmonizing ways of working, and driving global standardization.
Your Background
  • Master’s degree or engineering degree.
  • 10–15 years of experience in network control, engineering operations, and team leadership in a global environment.
  • Demonstrated success managing technical teams, project delivery, and complex multi‑country engineering activities.
  • Strong leadership attributes including responsibility, determination, active listening, and commercial awareness.
  • Proven ability to build effective relationships across Sales, Finance, Factories, BU Leadership, customers, suppliers, and subcontractors.
  • Fluent in English and comfortable operating in senior stakeholder and customer‑facing environments.
What’s In It For You
  • High‑impact global leadership role in a strategically critical business area.
  • Opportunity to shape engineering standards, tools, processes, and delivery excellence across all regions.
  • Direct influence on global operations, project results, and long‑term business performance.
  • Collaboration with diverse teams and stakeholders across regions, functions, and customer groups.
  • A role at the forefront of Hitachi Energy’s mission to drive a sustainable energy future.
  • Competitive compensation and career development opportunities within a global technology leader.
