Carlsberg has been a fundamental client of iProspect Global since January 2024, after winning a global pitch and securing the business across 22 local markets. iProspect manages the media strategy, planning and buying for the flagship Carlsberg brand alongside other major portfolio brands like Tuborg, 1664, Somersby and Brooklyn. Carlsberg’s marketing strategy is pivoting to be an ‘engine of growth’ rather than a cost centre. Their overall ambition is to become the most successful, professional and attractive multi-beverage powerhouse in all their markets, accelerating growth and revenue. This role presents an opportunity to be part of a large, high-performing team, working at pace to lead and accelerate Carlsberg’s and William Grant & Sons (spirit brand) ongoing media transformation initiatives and driving global media excellence across our markets.

Role purpose & Responsibilities:

Support the Carlsberg and William Grant & Sons global accounts in all aspects of account management, client relationships, digital reporting and project delivery with a key focus on managing our markets.

Global campaigns & reporting:

  • Actively seen as a go-to point of contact and operational lead on key Carlsberg global campaigns, across a range of different brands within the portfolio
  • Lead different IPB campaign reporting, owning end-to-end data pull through to final narrative, typically across paid digital media channels
  • Contribute to regular client status calls and global network calls, be a visible, vocal presence on the accounts and ensure markets are clear on priorities and expectations for global campaigns  

Operational support on priority global projects:

  • Act as the operational backbone for key Carlsberg & WGS projects such as Sufficiency and Attention based planning. Supporting senior colleagues to ensure that frameworks are embedded within local markets
  • Collate best practise case studies of these workstreams from local markets and ensure that learnings are embedded into media plans, response to briefs, PCAs and reporting
  • Support and deliver against key projects in the WGS scope, including Total Social, Thought Leadership projects, the 1PD workstream, Local market data collection, Measurement and more

Account Management:

  • Strong communication and project management skills required to work collaboratively with our global team and colleagues across a wide range of local markets
  • Requires regular communication with markets, understanding of their priorities, gathering and sharing case studies and inspiration and driving deadlines
  • Ensure project status is up to date for weekly internal and client calls
  • Respond to network and clients in a timely and accurate manner

Professional Skills:

Candidate should have experience working in a media agency globally or locally, with confidence in account management, strong communication skills and strong digital media experience is key for this role

Media and Insights skills:

  • Knowledge of the media planning process and how this applies to global clients
  • Ability to translate data & information across platforms, sources and markets and analyse for insights and conclusions which inform strategic priorities for Carlsberg and WGS

Communication:

  • Excellent communicator: verbal, written, presentation, listening skills with internal and external stakeholders both senior and junior
  • High level of attention to detail with all outputs

Teamwork:

  • Understands how to handle difficult and sensitive conversations within the network and with clients if required
  • Checks in for support where necessary and manages up
  • Ability to manage direct and virtual teams across the ecosystem

Self-awareness and organisation:

  • Adopts energised and enthusiastic approach
  • Project management skills which draw up plan for delivery of work to deadlines, with all milestones plotted; follows up key deliverables to ensure timely delivery and heads off any risk to this with proactive checking in
  • Ability to understand cultural nuances and adapts own style to fit. Respects differences in culture, approach and skillset
  • Proficient with key tools (i.e. ppt, Excel, etc)
