About the Position
We have an excellent opportunity available for an experienced Wholesale National Account Manager to make a difference at Kraft Heinz. The role lies within the Northern Europe business unit and sits within our Wholesaler & Discounter channel. You'll be working in a high performing team, alongside peers always trying to reach the next level. You'll be reporting into our Wholesale Convenience Controller. Get ready for a lot of exposure to internal senior stakeholders. This role is focused on our retail wholesale convenience customers.
Your key customers will be Bestway (UK's largest independent wholesaler) and wholesale buying groups, of which Unitas is the UK's no1 independent wholesale buying group. This is a big scope with overall responsibility of 50+ wholesale customers. You'll bring your excellent relationship building skills, growth mindset, time management & customer focus to deliver long term and sustainable growth for this channel.
In brief, you will be responsible for:

  • Managing our independent wholesale customers with a P&L of over $18m NSV across all key Kraft Heinz categories.
  • Owning the P&L & delivering your growth plan through annual JBP negotiations & excellent execution of the plan externally with our customers.
  • Building strong customer relationships is essential in this role - there will be regular external meetings, trade shows & customer conferences.
  • Supporting the Account controller - feeding into the longer term channel strategy & ensuring its execution with your customers to deliver sustainable growth for the Retail Wholesale business.
  • Working with you will be Heinz Link team who will support in managing our smaller wholesale customers. You therefore have two report to manage, supporting the team with prioritisation and running weekly team meeting. Your role will be the ensure information & comms execution is smooth between Heinz cross-functional team and Heinz Link. Your team are targeted on growth & winning new customers which is a key part of our wider wholesale strategy.


Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience in a sales or account management position, ideally within food or FMCG
  • Negotiation experience & full P&L understanding
  • Experience of building strong relationships
  • Experience in wholesale convenience is preferred, but not essential
