Sompo  has a unique opportunity for a Multinational Operations and Quality Assurance Coordinator in our Multinational quality and controls team in our Multinational business. 

Our Multinational Quality and Controls team ensures global consistency, integrity and compliance across complex insurance programmes spanning multiple jurisdictions. We deliver robust governance frameworks, advanced data quality controls to support operational excellence and transparency worldwide. Working through a network of regional teams and strategic partners, we champion best practices and long-term collaboration, enabling seamless execution of multinational solutions with a strong focus on accountability and service.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Complete comprehensive quality assurance reviews of multinational data and documentation, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and alignment with company standards, while identifying discrepancies, implementing corrective actions, and tracking them through to full resolution.
  • Develop and generate reports on key data‑quality metrics, leveraging AI‑driven analytics and tools such as Strategy and Power BI  to identify trends, risks, and optimisation opportunities that enhance operational effectiveness and compliance.
  • Facilitate communication between global and regional stakeholders, ensuring alignment, promoting best practices and driving continuous improvement.
  • Third‑party oversight: Manage onboarding, due diligence, and lifecycle monitoring of network partners; maintain accurate capability and data performance.
  • Support the creation, enhancement, and upkeep of guides, training materials, and process documents.
  • Provide additional support on tasks and projects as assigned to meet departmental and organisational goals.

What you’ll bring:

  • An entry‑level opportunity offering hands‑on experience within a multinational insurance environment, providing practical involvement in compliance, risk, and data‑management activities across cross‑border operations.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to generate, interpret, and act on data-driven insights.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in using data management platforms, reporting tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Familiarity with AI-driven analytics and advanced tools (e.g., Power BI, Strategy, Tableau) to optimise processes, enhance data quality and support strategic decision-making would be advantageous.
