Sompo has a unique opportunity for a Senior Multinational Operations and Quality Assurance Coordinator in our Multinational quality and controls team in our Multinational business.
Our Multinational Quality and Controls team ensures global consistency, integrity and compliance across complex insurance programmes spanning multiple jurisdictions. We deliver robust governance frameworks, advanced data quality controls to support operational excellence and transparency worldwide. Working through a network of regional teams and strategic partners, we champion best practices and long-term collaboration, enabling seamless execution of multinational solutions with a strong focus on accountability and service.

What you’ll be doing:
- Support the design and maintenance of governance and data quality frameworks, including multinational guidelines, risk controls, compliance processes, automated controls, exception management and KPI reporting to ensure global consistency and accountability.
- Support Head of Multinational Quality and Controls with governance initiatives, coordinating cross-functional and regional teams to deliver outcomes aligned with business priorities and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct regular quality assurance reviews of data, documentation, identify issues, drive remediation, and verify closure.
- Leverage AI-driven analytics to identify trends, risks and optimisation opportunities that enhance operational effectiveness and compliance.
- Facilitate communication between global and regional stakeholders, ensuring alignment, promoting best practices and driving continuous improvement.
- Third‑party oversight: Manage onboarding, due diligence, and lifecycle monitoring of network partners; maintain accurate capability and performance data.
- Communication and change: Translate findings into clear recommendations. Publish regional updates, champion automation and advanced analytics for continuous improvement.
What you’ll bring:
- Minimum 7 years’ experience in insurance or financial services, with emphasis on operations, strategy execution, or multinational business.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver strategic initiatives and manage complex, cross-functional projects across global teams.
- Strong organisational and project management skills, adept at prioritising multiple deadlines.
- Proficiency in AI-driven analytics and advanced tools (e.g., Power BI, Strategy, Tableau) to optimise processes, enhance data quality and support strategic decision-making.
