The Job
We are looking for a Senior Integration Engineer with strong experience in developing integration solutions and understanding of integration patterns, primarily via APIs, in the context of large business transformation projects involving Salesforce, Oracle ERP and other applications and components.
The primary integration platform is Mulesoft, for which a deep expertise is required, but the role will also have oversight of other API-based interfaces.
Responsibilities

Develop and maintain integration solutions, ensuring they meet business requirements and align with technical standards.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver integration projects on time and within scope.

Implement, test, and support integration flows and interfaces.

Help to establish and follow best practices for API development and data integration, ensuring scalability and performance.

Contribute to the lifecycle of integration projects, from design and build to testing and operation, while ensuring adherence to standards.

Assist in defining development standards and approaches for API and integration solutions.
Skills and qualifications
-
A bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, system analysis, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
-
A minimum of five years of experience in IT solution development, preferably within large business transformation programs.

Expertise in API-led integration on Mulesoft is required, with a strong preference for Mulesoft certifications. Exposure to Boomi is helpful but not required.

Solid understanding of enterprise integration patterns, including data integration and ETL processes. Familiarity with Informatica is helpful but not required.

Experience with multiple technologies, platforms, and processing environments, particularly Salesforce-based environments.

Good understanding of emerging technology trends and the application of these technologies to solve business problems.

Familiarity with agile development methodologies and experience in supporting agile teams by providing technical guidance on integration opportunities and risks.

Experience in the implementation and delivery of MuleSoft Anypoint Platform solutions.

Experience with REST and SOAP web services.

Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on delivering solutions on time and within budget.

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to collaborate with stakeholders and team members.

Knowledge of network, security, and other wider aspects of technology architecture.

Proven planning, organizational, and technical skills, with the ability to work closely with developers and other technical teams.
