About The Role

Investment Lettings & Management – London (Baker Street) (BTR)

Knight Frank is seeking to recruit a Mobilisation and Lettings Manager to join its fast-paced and successful Investment Lettings and Management team. This role is based at Baker Street, with responsibilities spanning across London.

This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious individual to work within the Build to Rent (BTR) and portfolio lettings sector, managing a diverse range of properties while building and maintaining long-term client relationships.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage client relationships across a range of ownerships, from small-scale portfolios to some of the largest BTR operators in the UK, delivering exceptional service throughout the lettings process.
  • Lead the mobilisation of portfolios and buildings, ensuring compliance with CDD and KYC requirements, and overseeing accurate data onboarding to support lettings and tenancy management.
  • Develop and implement effective marketing, letting, and stock management strategies.
  • Conduct pricing exercises (ERVs) and obtain client approval.
  • Supervise, mentor, and motivate junior team members, interns, and graduates to ensure they are confident in conducting viewings and negotiating transactions.
  • Manage and compliantly close lettings, delivering a seamless client experience (including ‘white label’ services where required).
  • Produce and manage client reporting, including preparation for invoicing.
  • Oversee the collection of all initial monies for properties let.
  • Monitor local market conditions and adjust strategies accordingly.
  • Uphold Knight Frank’s professional standards and ensure adherence to all administrative and compliance procedures.
  • Maintain in-depth market knowledge and awareness of local competitors.
  • Conduct research and present findings in a clear, professional manner.
  • Build strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders, maintaining trust and confidentiality.
  • Liaise with other departments and offices as required.
  • Ensure clear communication across all parties to facilitate efficient and professional lettings processes.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in internal and client IT systems and understand their broader applications.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of legislation and ensure best practice compliance.
  • Manage GDPR preferences for applicants and clients.
  • Undertake any additional responsibilities delegated by the Partner.
Key Experience Required
  • Minimum 3+ years’ experience in a similar role within the lettings market.
  • Proven track record of successfully negotiating deals.
  • Strong client relationship management skills.
  • MARLA qualification (desirable, not essential).
Skills & Attributes
  • Strong understanding of the Renters’ Rights Act and its implications.
  • Excellent written and numerical skills.
  • Confident, enthusiastic, with strong communication abilities.
  • Demonstrable sales and negotiation capability.
  • Team-oriented, with the ability to collaborate effectively.
