Job Description

We’re seeking a passionate Mobile Marketing Manager with proven experience in delivering high-performing campaigns. You thrive in a forward-thinking, collaborative environment and have a strong commercial mindset to identify opportunities for scaling user acquisition across web and app platforms. 

The ideal candidate is proactive, inquisitive, and balanced in both analytical and creative skills. You understand what motivates customers to choose Trainline and make data-driven decisions. Highly organized with a keen eye for detail, you are adept at following and developing new processes.

Key Responsibilities 

  • Manage and optimise budgets for paid social and app acquisition channels (Meta, Snapchat, TikTok) across multiple European markets, ensuring alignment with commercial targets. 
  • Collaborate with marketing channels and cross-functional teams (brand, legal, product, and data) to drive integrated campaign success. 
  • Lead creative testing initiatives in partnership with the internal creative studio to deliver world-class performance marketing creatives. 
  • Build and prioritise hypotheses to scale and improve cost-efficiency across paid social and app acquisition channels. 
  • Report regularly to stakeholders in Growth, Performance Marketing, and Finance with clear performance updates. 
  • Stay informed on industry trends, escalating key developments as necessary.

Qualifications

  • Strong understanding of mobile user acquisition on platforms like Meta, TikTok, Google Ads (App Campaigns, YouTube), and Snapchat. 
  • Experience running A/B tests and Conversion Lift Studies on Meta, TikTok, and Snapchat. 
  • Proven track record in creative asset optimization, working with creative teams to enhance ad performance. 
  • Cross-functional collaboration: Proven ability to work closely with designers, copywriters, and developers to create high-quality creative assets. 
  • Expertise in insights and reporting, delivering actionable insights to stakeholders through clear performance analysis. 
  • Strong focus on brand alignment, ensuring creative assets drive results while adhering to brand guidelines. 
  • Strong grasp of key performance metrics such as LTV and ROAS. 
  • Experience with marketing measurement and attribution, using mobile measurement platforms (Appsflyer, Singular, Branch, Adjust, Kochava), and tools like Google Analytics 4, Firebase, and Google Tag Manager. 
  • Solid understanding of mobile measurement technologies, including SKAdNetwork and the Android Privacy Sandbox. 
  • Skilled in automating reports using data analytics tools such as Tableau or Looker. 
  • Proven experience managing and coaching direct reports. 

Bonus Skills & Experience 

  • Fluency in French, Italian, or Spanish. 
  • Proficiency in SQL.
  • Experience developing and optimising creative processes.
