Job Description

TOPdesk London is growing, and we’re looking for a proven closer to join our sales team as an Account Executive, driving new business across the UK & Ireland.

This is a quota-carrying role for someone who already has a track record of consistently hitting or exceeding target in a SaaS sales environment, is fluent in a modern sales methodology, and knows how to run a full-cycle process from qualified pipeline through to signature.

Please note: internally this role is titled Business Development Manager, but the responsibilities and seniority are equivalent to an Account Executive

What you’ll do

• Own a pipeline of new business opportunities from demo stage through to close, with full accountability for hitting quota

• Partner with our BDR and Marketing teams – and generate your own pipeline where it counts – to keep a healthy, qualified pipeline

• Run demos with genuine technical credibility, handling objections and problem-solving live

• Lead strategic, multi-stakeholder conversations across different departments, seniority levels, and industries

• Navigate tender processes and contract negotiations to close complex deals

• Work cross-departmentally representing customer and business interests in equal measure

• From time to time, mentor and coach junior team members as a senior member of the sales team

Qualifications

Are you our new Account Executive?

• 2-3+ years of solid closing experience in SaaS sales, with a demonstrable history of hitting and/or exceeding target

• A genuine hunter mentality – you build pipeline as naturally as you close it

• Trained in and actively using a structured sales methodology (MEDDIC, SPICED, MEDDPICC, or equivalent)

• Comfortable running technical demos and objection-handling across multiple stakeholder types within an organisation

• Comfortable navigating procurement, tender, and contract processes

• Exceptional communication skills including written, verbal, and in presentation

• Self-directed, accountable, and comfortable owning outcomes rather than just activity

Additional Information

What you do it for

• Base salary of £60k - £70k, with total on-target earnings £96.5k - £113k (approx.) – commission is uncapped, with accelerators for over-performance

• Hybrid, flexible working and healthy work-life balance

• Learning budget equivalent to 10% of your basic salary

• Generous pension scheme with company contributions up to 8%

• Enhanced maternity & paternity leave

• Private health insurance options

• Cycle-to-work scheme and Techscheme

• 15 fully paid sick days, 5 days paid parental/carer leave, and 2 volunteering days

• 26 days of paid annual leave (plus public holidays) and your birthday off

• Employee Assistance Program for you and your family

• Unlimited career support

• Team outings & rewards, Perkbox membership, & office with foosball, darts, ping-pong, and a gym

• Wanna know more about us? Check out a bit about our software, company culture, or drop us a message with any questions.
