The Microsoft 365 Engineer will oversee the implementation of Office 365 services, including Active Directory and Azure AD, provide engineering services for modernization efforts, manage cloud migration strategies, perform O365 and Exchange administration, and support Office 365 Authentication. Responsibilities include troubleshooting, migration reporting, and creating training documentation.

Role and Responsibilities
- Implementation and oversight of Office 365 services, encompassing Active Directory, Azure AD,
- Exchange, SharePoint, OneDrive for Business.
- Provide engineering services for modernization and collaboration efforts, including single sign-
- on and centralized identity and federation services, and cloud migration strategy for cloud-
- based infrastructure-as-a-service platforms including Microsoft Azure and Amazon Web
- Services.
- Perform O365 and Exchange Administration and Azure Active Directory Management.
- Troubleshoot multiple complex Exchange Online/On Premise/ Hybrid environments
- Research organization’s technical problems while devising solutions and implementing plans for
- full resolution.
- Support Office 365 Authentication and Identity Protocols.
- Perform and assist Administrators with Office 365 Migrations, remediation, data moves, and
- license assignments.
- Provision Mailboxes with required license services using group licensing.
- Participate in change management (ITIL).
- Provide migration reporting to senior management.
- Provide on-going Tier IV Support for Office 365.
- Assist in creating and maintaining client training documentation.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience administrating and implementing Microsoft 365 (Exchange, OneDrive,
- Teams, SharePoint)
- Prior experience with Microsoft migrations and deployments (i.e., On-prem Exchange,
- SharePoint) onto M365
- Experience using platform migration tools. Examples include ShareGate, Azure Migrate and
- Bittitan..etc
- Experience with Microsoft Azure preferred
- Familiarity with design & build M365 licensing groups in Azure Active Directory.
- Experience writing and maintaining PowerShell scripts for automation and system efficiency
- Experience with SMTP gateways/routing, DNS, TCP/IP, Modern Authentication, Active Directory
- user and group management, group policy
- Ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences
- Experience troubleshooting system performance issues
- Experience writing best practiced and SOP documentation
Education and/or Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree or the recognized equivalent in education and experience
- Minimum 10 years of experience configuring and supporting IT infrastructure
- Minimum 3 years of experience with integrations and migrations around M&A
- Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104) required.
Other Qualifications:
- Strong customer service skills and experience delivering excellent customer experiences.
- Must be analytical, organized, and detail oriented with good verbal and written
- communications skills
- Must have a high level of problem-solving skills
- Technical writing capabilities around system documentation and standard operating
- procedures.
- A positive, team-oriented attitude is necessary to deal with a large variety of personalities
