As MICE Sales Manager, you will play a key role in driving revenue growth within the Meetings, Incentives, Conferences and Events (MICE) segment. You will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, developing strong client relationships, and implementing sales strategies that support the hotel's commercial objectives. 

The Ideal candidate has a proven track record in MICE sales, enjoys proactive business development, and is motivated by exceeding targets while delivering exceptional customer experiences.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive MICE business into the hotel through proactive sales activities and strategic business development.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve or exceed revenue and performance targets.
  • Build, manage, and grow relationships with key accounts, agencies, and prospective clients. 
  • Maintain clear account plans, call objectives, and follow-up activities for assigned accounts and prospects. 
  • Identify, qualify, and convert new business opportunities through proactive prospecting and lead generation.
  • Negotiate contracts, determine rates, and manage client accounts throughout the sales process.
  • Monitor and analyze lost business opportunities to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Maximize revenue by ensuring all sales opportunities are followed up and converted effectively. 
  • Represent the hotel at trade shows, workshops, networking events, sales blitzes, and client site inspections. 
  • Deliver professional presentations and act as an ambassador for Hilton Stockholm Slussen to prospective clients and partners. 

Qualifications

What We Are Looking For

We are looking for a motivated and relationship-focused sales professional who thrives in a fast-paced and competitive environment. You are creative, solution-oriented, and passionate about creating business opportunities and delivering results. 

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • At least two years of experience in a MICE sales role or similar business development sales position.
  • A relevant degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Swedish and English.
  • Strong negotiation, networking, and relationship-building skills. 
  • The ability to work independently while contributing positively to a collaborative team environment. 
  • Knowledge of the local MICE markets is considered an advantage.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Experience with Salesforce or another CRM system is considered an advantage. 

Additional Information

This is a full-time position. Working hours are primarily Monday- Friday but may occasionally include evenings and weekends based on business needs.
