Manager, Index Product Strategy Europe
Reports to: Senior Director, Index Product Strategy
Location: London or Amsterdam (flex hybrid)

Position Summary:
The Manager of Index Product Strategy will help define the expansion strategy for Cboe Global Indices (CGI) product suite in Europe. This role will primarily focus on designing investable indices to meet client demand, working with the clients to develop their proprietary index methodologies, and driving projects from ideation to launch. The Manager of Index Product Strategy will help represent CGI in conversations with existing and potential clients to promote our capabilities, as well as promote our products through presentations to market participants.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Performs a combination of the following functions:
- Help represent CGI in the EU, interfacing with clients to explain capabilities, take in and refine specification, and deliver clear requirements for index launches
- Collaborate with the index sales team to develop and onboard new business opportunities quickly
- Help drive projects that follow CGI calculation standards to enable repeat application of calculation modules
- Participate in client meetings to help develop new index concepts, providing direction and analysis to convert client ideas into viable index methodologies
- Contribute to CGI’s promotional efforts, building collateral and presentations that can effectively communicate CGI’s capabilities and offering
- Work collaboratively with other Cboe departments on new index and benchmark launches, as well as post-launch support
- Help track public products tied to CGI administered indices
Job Requirements Experience:
8 years of experience with minimum of 3 years financial experience with demonstrated knowledge of options, financial indexing and/or financial markets a plus.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Experience with index methodology
- Knowledge of options, Greeks, and option trading strategies
- Demonstrated ability to present complex concepts succinctly
- Strong background in index mathematics: writing, reading, editing methodology formulas
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Effective interpersonal and communication skills; solid writing skills is a must
- Must be self-motivated and be able to work independently as well as part of a team
- Experience in capital markets, structured products, digital assets preferred
Education:
Bachelors degree Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science or related field required. Advanced degree preferred.
