Job Description:

Who we are

dentsu is a network designed for what’s next, helping clients predict and plan for disruptive future opportunities and create new paths to growth in the sustainable economy.

Ready to dive into the world of media and advertising? Join our Melbourne team as a Media Coordinator (AKA Client Associate) and get hands-on experience supporting campaigns that people actually see, hear, and talk about.

In this role, you won’t just be watching from the sidelines - you’ll be right in the action, helping bring campaigns to life and making sure everything runs like clockwork.

What your typical day will look like

  • Team up with clients, agency partners and media owners to build knowledge around the media lifecycle.

  • Support and learn how to launch & optimise campaigns across TV, Video, Audio and Outdoor.

  • Support the team with key documentation - WIPs, reporting, post-campaign analysis - you'll learn it all!

  • Get hands on with the data - track performance and learn to identify areas for improvement

  • Contribute to presentations and reporting - build your confidence with clients.

This is your launchpad into the media industry. You will gain real world experience in media planning and buying, learn the ins and outs of media, and work alongside some exciting brands.

A bit about you:

  • A curiosity, eagerness and readiness to learn all things media

  • A knack for data and an ability to grasp numerical concepts - you don't need to be a Mathematics wizard, just comfortable working with data.

  • A basic understanding of Excel, PowerPoint and Word.

  • You are tech savvy and a practical thinker, having a natural flair for problem solving.

  • You are happy collaborating and working within a team environment with strong communication skills.

What’s in it for you

  • Real flexibility to work when and where you feel most productive with our ‘Be the Best You’ policy

  • 5 weeks annual leave after 2 years of service and 3 whole company mental health awareness days off per year

  • Career Development and Learning & Development opportunities, including access to our global online dentsu University

  • Save money with great discounts on health insurance, gym membership, buying a car and travel!

Become a champion for meaningful progress

Our diverse and inclusive culture enables our employees to bring their whole selves to work and be proud of doing so. For us, this is the foundation for great innovation which, in turn, generates better outcomes for our people, partners and communities. This is why we encourage applications from people with disabilities, and of all ages, nationalities, backgrounds and cultures.

Come join a global network where the opportunities to learn and experiment are limitless - we look forward to welcoming you.
