The Mechanical Design Engineer will produce engineering deliverables for projects in the Offshore Industries, focusing on technical solutions for complex engineering problems including design, calculations, analysis, and documentation. They will ensure successful project delivery while adhering to time, budget, and quality standards.
The role:
We have an exciting opportunity to work within an experienced and multi-disciplined team delivering engineering designs for the Offshore Industries. The Mechanical Design Engineer is responsible for producing engineering deliverables for a work-pack /sub-system or entire project throughout the project life cycle.
You will be responsible for:
- Producing technical solutions to complex engineering problems. This may include concept design, detailed design, calculations, analysis and technical reports/documentation
- Take ownership of the tasks assigned through to successful delivery within the specified time, budget to the specification and required quality standards
- Take direction from the Senior Engineer
Job requirements:
- Degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent (BEng/Meng) as a minimum
- Experienced in engineering design and development
Notes:
- This role may involve national in international travel
- Must have Right to Work in the UK
