About the role
Our MarTech team is evolving as we take on projects that will reshape how we communicate with clients, personalise their experiences, improve marketing performance and embed AI into how our marketing teams work. As MarTech Delivery Lead, you will drive the successful delivery of a complex and evolving marketing technology roadmap spanning customer engagement, data infrastructure, performance marketing measurement and AI enablement.
This role sits at the centre of marketing, product, engineering, data, compliance and our internal AI teams. You will translate strategic intent into clear delivery plans, keep cross-functional teams aligned on priorities and outcomes, and maintain calm, predictable execution even when the work is complex or ambiguous.
A core part of this role is owning delivery across our tagging, tracking and attribution ecosystem, ensuring performance marketing teams have the measurement foundations they need to optimise spend and prove ROI. You will also co-lead the delivery of AI-powered solutions and workflows for marketing, working with internal AI and data science teams to move from experimentation to scalable, production-ready capability.
You will join an established martech team and work alongside existing delivery and technical resources to drive the next phase of our roadmap.
We do not expect you to be a deep technical specialist in every platform, but you must be comfortable operating in technical environments, credible when discussing tagging architectures and data flows, and confident coordinating delivery across integrated systems.
What you’ll do
Delivery leadership
Own end-to-end delivery planning across the MarTech portfolio, coordinating cross-functional workstreams with clear milestones, dependencies and ownership.
Act as the central delivery point between marketing, product, engineering, data, compliance and third-party partners, proactively identifying and resolving risks and blockers.
Lead discovery and definition activities, documenting user journeys, data flows and success measures to translate business goals into actionable delivery plans.
Develop and continuously improve delivery processes, documentation standards and ways of working to reduce friction and strengthen collaboration.
Tagging, tracking and attribution
Lead delivery of tagging, tracking and attribution initiatives that underpin performance marketing measurement, working across web, app and server-side environments.
Bridge the gap between marketing objectives and technical implementation for tracking and measurement, ensuring business requirements are clearly defined and understood by engineering teams.
Manage the implementation and evolution of tagging frameworks, conversion APIs, server-side tagging and attribution models, managing dependencies across marketing, engineering and data teams.
Support performance marketing stakeholders by ensuring measurement infrastructure is robust, accurate and aligned to commercial outcomes including cost-per-acquisition, return on ad spend and multi-touch attribution.
AI enablement
Lead the delivery of AI-powered solutions and workflows for marketing teams, from scoping and requirements through to build, testing and adoption.
Work with internal AI and data science teams to identify, prioritise and deliver AI use cases that improve marketing effectiveness, efficiency or personalisation.
Develop and maintain frameworks for evaluating, building and scaling AI capability within marketing, including governance, testing standards and adoption playbooks.
Coordinate the integration of AI tooling into existing martech platforms and workflows, ensuring solutions are production-ready, maintainable and adopted by end users.
Who you are
You are a confident delivery professional who brings structure and momentum to complex, cross-functional work. You are comfortable operating in ambiguity, able to connect the dots between teams and skilled at turning broad goals into practical plans. You understand how marketing technology, measurement and data work together, and you can hold your own in technical conversations without needing to write the code yourself.
You will likely bringExperience in a hybrid delivery, project management or business analysis role within marketing technology, digital or performance marketing environments.
Strong understanding of tagging frameworks, tracking architectures, conversion measurement and attribution (e.g. GTM, server-side tagging, conversion APIs, multi-touch attribution models), with the ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications for implementation teams.
Experience delivering or coordinating AI, machine learning or automation initiatives, ideally within a marketing or commercial context.
Strong ability to translate business objectives into structured delivery plans, requirements and documentation.
Clear, confident communication skills with the ability to work effectively across teams with different priorities, disciplines and levels of technical understanding.
Experience managing multiple initiatives in parallel, including coordination of external vendors and delivery partners, while maintaining focus on outcomes.
These are beneficial but not required:
Experience with AI workflow tooling, prompt engineering, or building AI-assisted marketing solutions.
Exposure to vendor evaluation and RFP processes for martech platforms.
Comfort supporting delivery involving integrations, APIs or data schemas.
