About CREOATE

CREOATE is a fast-growing B2B wholesale marketplace connecting independent retailers with curated brands across the UK and Europe. We are building the infrastructure that powers modern independent retail.

As we enter our next phase, our focus is on optimising marketplace liquidity, improving conversion, and strengthening forecasting discipline. This role sits at the heart of that effort.

The Role

We’re hiring a Marketplace Strategy & Analytics Lead to partner directly with the COO in strengthening how we understand and operate our two-sided marketplace. This is a hands-on, commercially embedded role. You will work across Growth, Commercial and Engineering to bring structure, clarity and modelling discipline to critical decisions.

You won’t simply report metrics. You’ll help us understand what is truly driving GMV, where our constraints sit, and how operational inputs translate into revenue outcomes. This role requires sound judgement, strong analytical discipline, and the ability to operate confidently in ambiguity.

What You’ll Own

You will own the development of clear marketplace health and liquidity frameworks, ensuring we understand the balance between supply and demand and where real constraints sit within the system. This includes analysing buyer and seller cohorts to uncover retention, contribution, and portfolio quality dynamics, and modelling how these factors translate into GMV and margin outcomes.

You will break down funnel performance by meaningful segments, distinguishing between ecommerce friction and underlying liquidity or density issues, and provide structured insight to support prioritisation across Growth and Commercial.

A core part of the role is strengthening forecasting discipline — building robust input-to-GMV models, pressure-testing assumptions ahead of planning cycles, and improving transparency around scenario modelling. You will regularly translate complex analysis into clear, decision-oriented insight at leadership forums, ensuring data sharpens commercial judgement rather than adding noise.

    What We’re Looking For
    • 6–8+ years experience in a two-sided marketplace or platform business
    • Strong applied analytical and modelling capability (SQL essential; Python/R preferred)

    • Experience building cohort, liquidity, contribution or forecasting models

    • Exposure to senior commercial decision-making environments

    • Strong structured problem-solving skills

    • Commercial intuition (margin, pricing, contribution economics)

    • Comfortable challenging assumptions with evidence

    • Able to operate independently in ambiguous, high-ownership environments

Experience in B2B or wholesale marketplaces is a plus.

    What This Role Is Not
    • Not a pure BI or dashboard-building role. Not a marketing analytics role. Not a research-focused data science position

    • This is a commercially embedded, decision-driving role.

    Why Join CREOATE?
    • Work at the centre of a growing two-sided marketplace

    • High ownership and direct leadership exposure

    • Shape the operating intelligence of the business

    • Competitive salary and equity
