Role
The Legal Account Executive will be responsible for bringing in new business, with a focus on European regional law firms. The role will establish business opportunities by identifying prospects and evaluating their position in the legal space. This is an ideal opportunity for a talented, high-performing SDR/BDR who is looking to move into a quota-carrying, full cycle sales role.
This role is based in our London office on a hybrid schedule (3 days in office per week) and may require travel for client meetings.
Responsibilities
- Establish business opportunities by identifying prospects and evaluating their position in the industry; researching and analyzing sales options
- After a training period which will include top-of-funnel pipeline generation responsibilities, you will manage all facets of the sales cycle to exceed annual targets including pitching, negotiating, closing and cross-selling
- Identify competitive advantages by understanding how current subscribers leverage our products
- Interface with prospects and communicate the value of all Octus products
Requirements
- Bachelors degree
- Experience or education in the legal space
- 1+ years of experience in a BDR/SDR role, selling content, research or intelligence to law firms, with a track record of exceeding targets
- Ability to learn quickly, an entrepreneurial mindset, and a desire to build a career in new business sales
- Salesforce and LinkedIn Sales Navigator experience preferred
- Fluent in English; other European language fluency would be an advantage but is not required
