Job Title: Marketplace Manager (eBay)

SharkNinja are looking for a Marketplace Manager to look after our eBay channel. Working as part of the Digital Merchandising and Trading team, you will support the development of our strategy for sales through eBay, enhancing the consumer experience, as well as day to day account management.
Sales through our digital channels are a key part of our continued growth strategy and you will have the opportunity to develop a career in this market leading space. This role will be an integral part in our fast growing and progressive D2C department. The ideal candidate will bring digital marketing, merchandising, and trading knowledge as well as a deep understanding of online consumer behaviour.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead promotional planning and execution, including discounts, bundles and special offers
  • Manage product launches, ensuring optimal merchandising, visibility and readiness
  • Create, optimize and maintain product listings
  • Primary contact for eBay, build long term relationships to grow our sales and visibility on their platform
  • Establish cross-functional ways of working between our Marketing, Customer Experience, Logistics and IT teams to deliver enhancements and support the acceleration of eBay sales for SharkNinja
  • Maintain standards across our accounts, managing key service metrics and feedback, and implementing improvements where required
  • Inventory planning, working with supply chain teams to optimise availability across new and refurbished
  • Competitor and market research, translating insights into actionable trading plans
  • Own performance reporting and forecasting, delivering weekly and monthly insights identifying risks and opportunities

About you:
  • Experience working with online marketplaces (preferably eBay, Amazon etc)
  • 2 years+ experience in a similar role with experience in E-Commerce management & digital trading
  • Experience in sales of refurbished products desirable
  • Strong knowledge of the digital retail environment and consumer journey
  • Understanding of paid activations to drive increased traffic
  • Passion for delivering a 5* consumer experience with best-in-class digital content
  • Demonstrate initiative and ability to react to change in a fast-paced environment, working independently or as part of a team
  • Ability to work with cross-functional teams to drive key objectives
  • Self-starter with effective time management and organisation skills
  • Experience in analytics platforms / performance tools (e.g. Google Analytics) desirable but not essential
