The Marketing Senior Manager for the Therapy Area Marketing supports the development and execution of therapy‑specific marketing strategies that advance business priorities and customer engagement. This role works closely with scientific, clinical, and commercial stakeholders to translate complex therapeutic expertise into compelling, compliant marketing campaigns, content, and programs. The position contributes to strategic planning, guides tactical execution, and ensures consistency and quality across campaigns, content, and experiences. Success is defined by the ability to influence strategy, deliver high‑impact initiatives on time, and use competitive, market, and performance insights to continuously refine and optimize marketing effectiveness.
Summary of Responsibilities:
• Support the delivery of the wider marketing teams’ strategic objectives, growing assigned aspects of the company brand identity, and driving high quality leads
• Partners with scientific, clinical, and commercial stakeholders to translate therapeutic expertise and market insights into clear, compliant messaging, campaigns, and programs
• Monitors the competitive landscape, market trends, and marketing performance metrics within assigned therapy areas to inform strategic recommendations and continuous improvement.
• Formulate and maintain marketing plans to promote assigned areas of the business
• Build marketing assets and coordinate execution across digital and offline channels
• Leads the development, maintenance, and optimization of marketing assets, including websites, content, and sales enablement materials, to support customer engagement, prospecting, and RFP or bid‑defense activities.
• Analyze campaign performance and recommend tests, optimizations, and strategic improvements.
• Collaborates effectively across teams, demonstrates sound judgment, and balances multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment, and all other duties as needed or assigned
• Maintain calendars, trackers, and documentation to ensure visibility and accountability across projects.
• Applies strong project management, analytical, and communication skills to drive cross‑functional alignment, resolve issues, and support effective decision‑making.
Qualifications (Minimum Required):
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field; advanced degree is a plus.
- **Fortrea may consider relevant and equivalent experience in lieu of educational requirements.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with demonstrated stakeholder management capabilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 and collaboration tools.
- Advanced analytical skills with experience in campaign testing, optimization, and performance reporting.
- Experience with marketing automation platforms and CRM systems.
- Fluent in English; additional language skills are a plus.
Experience (Minimum Required):
- Significant experience in healthcare marketing, with demonstrated success in campaign execution and content development.
- Experience managing timelines, and regulatory review processes.
- Familiarity with performance analytics and optimization strategies.
Physical Demands/Work Environment:
Work Environment:
• Primarily office-based or remote with frequent computer use.
• Occasional travel (up to 15%) to conferences or internal meetings.
• Requires ability to attend virtual meetings across time zones as needed.
Physical Requirements:
• Frequently stationary for 6-8 hours per day.
• Repetitive hand movement of both hands with the ability to make fast, simple, repeated movements of the fingers, hands, and wrists.
• Occasional crouching, stooping, with frequent bending and twisting of upper body and neck.
• Ability to access and use a variety of computer software systems.
• Light to moderate lifting and carrying (or otherwise moves) objects including luggage and laptop computer with a maximum lift of 15-20 lbs.
