Why this role is important to us

SimCorp has identified the UK as a strategic growth market, and we are seeking a Marketing Manager to lead innovative marketing initiatives that enhance brand awareness, foster meaningful engagement with key accounts, and drive demand generation.

In this role, you will partner with regional leadership, Sales, and Client Success Management (CSM) teams to craft and carry out impactful marketing strategies tailored to the UK market. By leveraging Account-Based Marketing (ABM) tactics, you will deliver focused campaigns designed to drive engagement, boost brand visibility, and generate pipeline growth.

To thrive in this role, you will develop and maintain a deep understanding of SimCorp’s UK target audience - including asset managers, pension funds, insurance firms and hedge funds - and tailor your strategies to meet their specific needs. Your contribution will be measured by your ability to drive awareness, engage prospects, and deliver measurable results for the business.

This is a great opportunity to drive growth as a key member of a truly global team. While your primary responsibility will be leading the marketing strategy for the UK market, you will also contribute to shaping and supporting global marketing initiatives.

This is an individual contributor role, reporting to the Global Head of Commercial Marketing.

What you will be responsible for

  • Develop targeted campaigns: Design and conduct strategic, multi-channel marketing campaigns tailored to the UK market, focusing on accounts aligned with SimCorp's product and service offerings. Adapt global content assets to meet the specific needs of the UK audience, ensuring relevance and impact.
  • Drive intent insights: Use intent monitoring techniques to uncover and share digital buying signals with Sales and other stakeholders, enabling targeted and effective engagement with potential clients.
  • Collaborate across teams: Work closely with SimCorp’s Marketing Centers of Excellence (CoEs), including Digital Marketing, Customer Programs & Events, and Communications teams, to plan, carry out, and optimize campaigns.
  • Event engagement: Partner with the Events CoE to plan and deliver impactful industry conferences and SimCorp-hosted events that drive engagement and strengthen relationships.
  • Leverage PR expertise: Collaborate with the Communications team and external PR agency to enhance SimCorp’s visibility and reputation in the UK market.
  • Analyze and optimize: Track and evaluate the performance of marketing campaigns and ABM programs, using data-driven insights to refine strategies and provide actionable recommendations for improvement.
  • Stakeholder communication: Maintain open and ongoing communication with regional stakeholders, highlighting the impact of marketing activities on pipeline development and business outcomes.

You will be measured on your ability to increase brand awareness, deepen prospect engagement, and drive demand in the UK market.

What we value

Most importantly, you can see yourself contributing and thriving in the position described above. How you gained the skills needed for doing that is less important. We expect you to be good at several of the following and be able to - and interested in - learning the rest.

  • Effective communication and stakeholder management: Serve as an engaged and trusted ambassador for the Marketing organization, building relationships across teams.
  • Very good organizational skills: Manage multiple priorities, handle complex projects, and work well amidst tight deadlines.
  • Industry expertise & a curious mindset: Demonstrate a genuine passion for Marketing, reflected in your expertise in leveraging ABM strategies to drive growth. Exhibit a good understanding of the markets we target, coupled with the ability to quickly grasp and apply industry insights to enhance your work.
  • Creativity & confidence: Bring new ideas and innovative approaches, confidently representing the UK’s voice in global marketing discussions.
  • Collaboration: A good collaborator who is willing to take action and do what is needed to drive the business forward.
  • Working from SimCorp’s office at least two days per week in alignment with our hybrid work approach.
