The role
We are looking for a Marketing Manager to join our team of 5 in the UK and support the delivery of our global marketing strategy.
The global marketing team at FundApps covers both sides of the coin: brand and demand generation. We have a strong focus on data and intent and, as part of the revenue team, we always have a keen eye on the commercial impact of what we do.
Marketing at FundApps has evolved a lot over the past few years—we’re a challenger brand that thrives on change, questions the status quo, and embraces new ideas. We’re looking for someone who’s eager to learn, contribute, and grow with us.
If you have experience with demand generation, event marketing (including webinars and in-person events) and partnership marketing, and you are excited about making an impact and being part of a dynamic, forward-thinking team, we’d love to hear from you!
How we measure success
FundApps works with sophisticated clients such as large asset managers, investment banks and hedge funds and this means long buying cycles with big buying groups.
Due to the complex nature of our clients we are progressive in how we measure marketing attribution and influence across the entire buying cycle and we benchmark with the best.
The role involves a blend of being hands on as well as taking ownership across a multitude of global, multi-channel initiatives.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Taking ownership of always on, timed and ad hoc marketing campaigns and projects - and that means being able to balance the strategic, longer term needs with the pivoting needs of the business.
- Collaborating with the partnership team to develop and execute joint marketing initiatives.
- Leading the planning and execution of events, webinars and soundbites.
- Delivering against KPIs and commercial objectives.
- Working closely with the product and sales teams.
- Working closely with the client services team to support marketing efforts that increase client engagement.
- Continuous optimisation based on data and insights is a critical part of the role.
What you'll bring to the team:
- Relevant B2B Background: You will have worked extensively in B2B marketing and will understand the complexities and nuances of long buying cycles, big buying groups and big ticket solutions.
- Marketing Skillset: We’re a scale-up business so you’re likely a generalist who can turn their hand to most aspects of the marketing mix - don’t worry we have specialist support where needed but you should have a good grasp across the mix. If you can come up with creative hooks for campaigns, are strong on product marketing or have another particular ninja skill, we’re keen to hear more.
- Industry Knowledge: You will have worked in either financial services or B2B software and will be able to get to grips with the intricacies of both the FundApps industry landscape and its product portfolio.
- Regional Experience: You will bring knowledge of a number of countries and/or regions and be keen to build your portfolio in others.
- Market Intelligence and Strategy: You will also have a natural ability to gather market intelligence and how to apply that knowledge to our global marketing strategy - while also talking and balancing the knowledge and opinions of our other teams such as product, sales and regulatory.
Salary
The range for this role is £65,000 - £85,000 depending on your skills and experience.
If you get warm fuzzy feelings about what we're trying to achieve at FundApps, then we want to hear from you!
