We’re looking for a strategic, proactive and commercially minded Marketing Manager to join our Client Marketing team at Aviva Investors. In this role, you’ll be a key member of the Global Institutional Marketing team, helping shape and execute marketing strategy and activity that strengthens our presence in the institutional markets, with a particular focus on Pensions and Private Markets.

The Aviva Investors Marketing team is a dynamic, high-performing group responsible for delivering integrated marketing that puts client needs first. We work across brand, digital, and content to create standout campaigns that drive engagement and deliver measurable commercial outcomes.

The team works agilely, partnering closely with Distribution, Investment Teams, Digital Marketing and Compliance and is continuously iterating based on insight, performance and market feedback.

A bit about the role:

You will support and influence business growth through compelling, innovative and insight-led campaigns, This role will act as a key marketing partner to the Private Markets business, building awareness and consideration of the Private Markets platform through clear, differentiated propositions for institutional investors.

You’ll help plan and deliver integrated marketing campaigns for institutional clients, supporting everything from initial ideas through to execution, optimisation and reporting. A key part of the role is promoting Private Market capabilities, including delivering major initiatives like the Private Markets Study and running ongoing paid and email campaigns to drive engagement. You’ll also work closely with internal teams to create tailored marketing materials and provide insights that support lead generation and sales conversations.

Day to day, you’ll manage campaign delivery within an agile squad, keep activity on track and collaborate with teams across Distribution, Investments, Digital and Compliance to ensure everything joins up. You’ll use data and marketing tools to track performance, improve targeting and demonstrate impact, while making sure all activity meets regulatory requirements and internal governance standards.

Skills and experience we’re looking for:

  • Marketing experience within financial services, with a sound understanding of regulatory requirements. Institutional investment management experience/knowledge is essential.

  • Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships across internal teams and external partners.

  • Proficient in content creation, digital marketing, campaign planning, and the use of CRM, marketing automation and compliance tools.

  • Strong understanding of campaign development, performance metrics, lead generation, MQL frameworks, and how they drive commercial outcomes.

  • Experience in marketing complex investment strategies, such as private markets to institutional audiences, with a strong commercial mindset and the ability to translate insight and performance data into clear recommendations and actions.
