As B2B Content Marketing Manager, you will be part of the Ads Marketing team and will report to the Head of Ads Marketing, based in London. You will also work very closely and contribute to B2B Industry marketing team supporting objectives for a portfolio of B2B products and campaigns. Your primary responsibility will be to help shape and execute a multichannel content strategy that speaks directly to our B2B partners—airlines, online travel agents, destinations, and media agencies and more.

You will work closely with your teammates in Ads Marketing, Industry Marketing as well as cross functional teams like Communication, Commercial, Product, Brand Marketing and more to support go-to-market strategies, ensuring internal and external readiness for launches.  You will also be developing content strategy and executing ongoing drumbeat activities to build awareness of Skyscanner as a trusted and strategic Partner.

About the team

The Ads Marketing team shapes our core advertising positioning and drives the go-to-market strategy for our ad products to bring this positioning to life through compelling messaging and narrative. By activating these messages across both sales channels (presentations, materials, talking points, events, comms) and broader non-sales channels, the team drives product adoption, partner trust and revenue.

Core Responsibilities / What will this role be responsible for delivering on?

  • Content Marketing Strategy: Build a multichannel content marketing strategy aligned with Skyscanner B2B Ads and Industry marketing goals, supporting regular product launches, and campaigns as well as having editorial planning to maintain a steady, high-quality content flow that delivers audience value and supports business objectives.
  • Content Development: Craft relevant, engaging and high-impact content (website content, articles, presentation, 1 pager, report, etc) that speaks to the needs and interests of Skyscanner’s Partners such as Airlines, Online Travel Agents, Destinations, Media agencies, and more, addressing key challenges and showcasing Skyscanner Ads’ unique value. Work with brand teams to oversee creative asset creation. Ensure existing assets are kept up to date with the latest stats.
  • Multichannel Distribution - Partner with individual channel managers and Comms to ensure content is strategically distributed across social media, email marketing, website, organic, and paid channels, maximizing reach and engagement. Use HubSpot CMS to publish and manage content hosted on the B2B website.


  • Performance Analysis & Optimization: Regularly track, analyze, and report on the effectiveness of scaled channel initiatives, using insights to make data-driven adjustments to enhance future campaigns.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with teams across sales, product, research/insights, comms and design to ensure that content aligns with broader marketing goals, supporting consistent brand positioning.

 

  • Knowledge: Stay up to date on industry trends and best practices, build a deep understanding of Skyscanner's Advertising Solutions, its features, benefits, and applications to effectively influence potential advertisers and continually evolve the content strategy to maintain relevance and competitiveness.

 

Qualifications / Who you are:

  • You have deep experience in B2B marketing, product marketing, digital advertising, or marketing communications.
  • Extensive experience in content strategy development, and digital advertising within international markets.
  • Skilled in collaborating with product and sales teams to shape and effectively communicate product strategy, positioning, and messaging
  • Ready to roll up your sleeves and contribute from day one.
  • Strong Project management skills, ability to function with ambiguity, identify roadblocks and help unblock these for internal teams.
  • Advanced writing skills, positioning, messaging and creative experience with an eye for good design. Also familiar with the relevant tools to get the job done.
  • Willing to learn and eager to partner, always ensuring you bring your peers along the journey.
