Marketing Executive

Part Time – 3 days per week

Salary: £21,900 – £24,000 (FTE £36,500 - £40,000)

Are you looking for a part-time marketing role where your ideas land, your campaigns have purpose, and your skills make a real impact?

Join us as a Marketing Executive and help deliver smart, creative, integrated marketing activity that cuts through noise and delivers results.

In this role, you will work for three days per week (Wednesday, Thursday and Friday) within a sociable and vibrant team.  You’ll work across a mix of digital and offline channels -  to build engaging campaigns from concept to delivery. You’ll collaborate with  marketing managers, analysts, and coordinators, all within a supportive, matrix-style environment.
You’ll be hands-on with all aspects of campaign delivery from planning through to reporting and optimisation  shaping the customer experience through well‑crafted communication. You will own projects from start to finish – delivering on time, on brief and on budget.

Summary

Responsible for successful and timely delivery of integrated campaign activity utilising a range of channels and incorporating all customer activity with an emphasis on digital channels such as social media, web, email. The scope of this role includes the delivery of teacher resources and content to support customers’ engagement and the proposition.
Work collaboratively in a matrix structure to support ongoing monitoring of activity and campaign optimisation.Landscape:
Working alongside other Marketing Executives, Marketing Coordinators, and Deputy Marketing Managers, you will also work with the Marketing Operations team, to ensure scheduling and analysis is done on time.
The Marketing & Brand teams consist of the Market Strategy team, the Marketing Operations team, and the Marketing Campaign team.
The Marketing & Brand teams sit within the Corporate Affairs & Marketing directorate, which also includes Internal Communications, External Communications, and Policy & Public Affairs.
Activities:
Develop creative and successful integrated campaigns, in collaboration with the Marketing Managers in a matrix structure, to meet the agreed business objectives.
Work with the Marketing team to effectively schedule delivery of activity to time and budget, including all content to support all customer engagement activity.
Develop impactful copy and content to support a range of promotional customer activities across a range of online and offline channels, working with marketing teams, and subject experts as required.
Manage and deliver the effective day to day running of integrated tactical campaigns from concept to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, to brief, on budget and meeting the pre-agreed objectives and ROI.
Manage and continually monitor activity responding to market needs including reviewing against competitor campaign activity and ensure key stakeholders are updated.
Responsible for monitoring marketing channels and working in collaboration with the marketing team to take appropriate actions in-line with business objectives.
Work with the Marketing Analyst and Marketing Managers to produce analysis to continually optimise activity to achieve agreed targets and make recommendations for future improvements.
Identify and make recommendations for improvements to processes to improve efficiencies and effectiveness.
Ensure internal stakeholders are up to date and briefed to handle customer enquiries efficiently and effectively.
Manage the working relationships with internal departments and external agencies ie commissioning agencies and/or third parties and managing their output.
Manage email communications including the creation of segments and contact lists using Microsoft Dynamics.
Ensure work is on brand, follows our house style and guidelines, as well as incorporating our core values.

Experience and familiarity with the full channel mix, with an emphasis on digital channels such as social media, web and email and a thorough understanding of SEO, PPC and mobile marketing techniques
The ability to work with internal stakeholders to support effective delivery
