As part of the Merrell UK Marketing team, you will be an integral part the coordination and implementation of a broad range of marketing activities across the UK market with strong focus on London and the Lifestyle category.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a marketeer to join our passionate and collaborative team and be a part of the growing success of a leading outdoor brand. Working alongside the Marketing Manager, UK Marketing Exec and wider Commercial team, you will be exposed to strategic GTM plans, co-manage PR agency relationships, and take ownership of marketing plans for London Key city project with. We are looking for authenticity, confidence, energy, flexibility, team player and strong interpersonal skills with deep understanding of the UK youth culture.

Responsibilities

  • Support implementation of London Key city strategy, in close collaboration with MM. Support activations across the channel mix for both trade and consumer audiences - retail, advertising, digital, social, PR, direct, etc.

  • Responsible for executing the London key city marketing calendar, measuring & monitoring the success of all activations in close collaboration with the agencie(s)

  • Support EMEA lifestyle team to deploy strong activations with key strategic doors in London and more broadly in the UK.   

  • Creating and implementing off-site community events to enhance local brand awareness (predominantly lifestyle, but also some hike/TR with run clubs).

  • Assist with the planning of ATL activities with media agency & EMEA team.

  • Work with Merrell’s UK PR agencies (lifestyle and performance) to build a solid PR plan to grow our London presence/ for a resonance national.

  • Offering education to key local retail staff in order to uphold and adhere to in-store brand marketing standards, as well as consistently offering product education.

  • Maximise brand visibility with modern & innovative approaches.

What you'll need:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

  • A strong understanding of Gen Z, youth culture, retail and community‑led marketing will be highly beneficial.

  • This is a London based role so a strong knowledge of London as a city is preferrable.

  • The role will play a foundational part in setting up the platform for future lifestyle growth, shaping how the brand evolves over time.

  • Previous experience in a Marketing role is desirable preferably within the footwear/ lifestyle/ retail industry.

  • Experience or interest in lifestyle ecosystems, including communities, local activations and digital/social storytelling

  • Suited to someone with a strong interest or background in lifestyle, culture, retail and community-driven marketing.

  • A role with room to grow - success here will directly shape how the function and brand develop in the future.
