Job Description

We are looking for a Marketing Executive to turn complex product and technical information into clear, engaging campaigns that generate interest and support commercial growth.

This is a hands-on role for someone who is comfortable owning the day-to-day delivery of multi-channel marketing activity. You will create content, build and launch campaigns, manage marketing automation activity and track how leads progress through the pipeline.

Working closely with the Marketing Programme Manager, Head of Marketing and wider marketing team, you will support campaigns across the Informed portfolio using email, automation, digital content, social media, paid channels, events and thought leadership.

This role would suit someone who has already gained solid experience in a B2B marketing environment and is ready to take greater ownership of campaign delivery. It is not an entry-level marketing position or a strategic management role.

What you’ll be doing

  • Develop and deliver multi-channel campaigns that support lead generation, customer engagement and commercial growth.
  • Research, write and edit high-quality content for different stages of the customer journey.
  • Create campaign materials including emails, landing pages, presentations, brochures, case studies, web pages and thought-leadership content.
  • Build and launch emails, forms and landing pages through Pardot or a comparable marketing automation platform.
  • Develop nurture journeys that help move prospects towards becoming qualified commercial opportunities.
  • Use customer, demographic and lead data to segment audiences and improve campaign relevance.
  • Support digital activity across email marketing, website content, SEO, social media and online advertising.
  • Manage campaigns through the marketing platform, ensuring leads are captured consistently and pipeline progression can be tracked.
  • Monitor campaign performance and provide clear reporting against agreed marketing and commercial measures.
  • Share insights from campaign and email testing to improve copy, creative execution, segmentation and conversion.
  • Coordinate Informed’s presence at conferences, exhibitions and other industry events.
  • Work with internal specialists and external agencies to deliver activity on time and to a consistently high standard.
  • Maintain a strong and recognisable brand presence across every customer touchpoint.

Qualifications

What we’re looking for

To succeed in this role, you will need demonstrable experience of personally delivering marketing campaigns rather than only coordinating or overseeing them.

You should be able to show:

  • Experience in a B2B marketing role, ideally within a technical, scientific, certification, professional services or similarly complex environment.
  • Hands-on experience delivering campaigns across several channels, particularly email, digital content, social media and events.
  • Strong copywriting and editing skills, with examples of translating detailed or technical information into accessible customer content.
  • Practical experience using a CRM and marketing automation platform to build campaigns, manage leads and track performance.
  • Experience creating emails, landing pages, forms, nurture journeys or automated communications.
  • An understanding of audience segmentation, lead generation and how marketing activity supports pipeline development.
  • The confidence to manage multiple campaigns and deadlines while maintaining close attention to detail.
  • Experience briefing agencies, designers or other internal specialists.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Degree-level education or equivalent relevant professional experience.

Experience using Pardot would be particularly useful, although experience with a comparable platform such as HubSpot, Marketo or Microsoft Dynamics 365 Marketing would also be relevant. Familiarity with SEO, paid digital campaigns, design tools or video-editing software would be an advantage.

What good looks like in this role

You will be someone who enjoys both the creative and analytical sides of marketing. You can write an engaging piece of content, build the campaign that delivers it and then use the results to improve what happens next.

You will be comfortable working with technical subject matter, asking questions of internal experts and finding the customer story within detailed information. Just as importantly, you will understand that successful marketing is not measured by activity alone, but by the quality of engagement and the progression of relevant leads.
