Let’s face it, a company whose mission is human transformation better have some fresh thinking about the employer/employee relationship.

We do. We can’t cram it all in here, but you’ll start noticing it from the first interview.

Even our candidate experience is different. And when you get an offer from us (and accept it), you get way more than a paycheck. You get a personal BetterUp Coach, a development plan, a trained and coached manager, the most amazing team you’ve ever met (yes, each with their own personal BetterUp Coach), and most importantly, work that matters.

This makes for a remarkably focused and fulfilling work experience. Frankly, it’s not for everyone. But for people with fire in their belly, it’s a game-changing, career-defining, soul-lifting move.

Join us and we promise you the most intense and fulfilling years of your career, doing life-changing work in a fun, inventive, soulful culture.

If that sounds exciting—and the job description below feels like a fit—we really should start talking.

We are a hybrid company with a focus on in-person collaboration when necessary. Employees are expected to be available to work from one of our office hubs at least two days per week, or eight days per month. Our Europe hub locations are London, UK and Amsterdam, NL. Please ensure you can realistically commit to this structure before applying.

About the Role

We’re seeking a bold, hands-on, and strategic Marketing Director, EMEA to lead our regional marketing efforts from London. You’ll be the senior marketing leader for BetterUp across Europe, responsible for accelerating brand awareness, demand generation, and revenue growth across our key markets. You will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing our regional marketing strategy. Your leadership will drive the expansion of BetterUp’s presence in the dynamic and rapidly evolving EMEA market — helping us reach more organizations and individuals with our mission of human transformation.

As the EMEA marketing leader, you’ll report directly to the SVP of Marketing and serve as a key member of both the regional and global marketing leadership teams, ensuring tight alignment between marketing initiatives and sales objectives. You’ll own the integrated EMEA go-to-market plan across demand generation, account-based marketing, events, content, and product marketing. You’ll build scalable programs that elevate our brand presence, strengthen our market position, and accelerate growth across diverse audiences.

This is a rare opportunity to build a high-performing regional marketing engine from the ground up, leading strategy and execution with autonomy, creativity, and impact.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead the Regional Marketing Strategy: Own the end-to-end EMEA marketing plan — driving both brand awareness and pipeline growth through integrated, data-driven initiatives.

  • Be a Strategic Operator: Translate global priorities into regional strategies that fuel measurable business growth, customer engagement, and long-term brand equity.

  • Drive Demand at Scale: Partner with Sales and Revenue Marketing to build demand generation, ABM, and field programs that influence high-value accounts and accelerate revenue.

  • Champion Local Relevance: Tailor our message, campaigns, and experiences to the unique cultural and business nuances across EMEA markets.

  • Build Executive Visibility: Represent EMEA marketing in global leadership forums, bringing regional insight and innovation to the global go-to-market strategy.

  • Deliver Exceptional Experiences: Oversee flagship events, executive roundtables, and thought leadership activations that position BetterUp as the category leader in human transformation.

  • Measure and Optimize: Use analytics and insight to track ROI, performance, and growth across every channel and market.

  • Build and Scale the Team: Recruit, develop, and inspire a world-class regional marketing organization as the business scales.

What We’re Looking For

  • 10+ years of B2B marketing experience, ideally in SaaS or technology sectors, with proven success leading across multiple EMEA markets.

  • Deep understanding of enterprise people transformation and organizational development

  • Demonstrated ability to build and scale marketing programs that drive measurable business impact in partnership with Sales.

  • Experience leading marketing for a US-based global technology startup and adapting strategy for regional success.

  • Deep expertise in demand generation, ABM, field marketing, and localized content strategy.

  • Track record of operating both strategically and tactically in fast-paced, high-growth environments.

  • Strong leadership, collaboration, and communication skills — able to influence across global teams and executive stakeholders.

  • Analytical mindset, financial acumen, and fluency in key marketing platforms (Salesforce, Marketo/HubSpot, 6sense/Demandbase).

  • A growth mindset and deep cultural intelligence across EMEA markets.

  • Willingness to be in the London office at least two days a week, travel across EMEA and periodically to the US.

Why You’ll Love Working Here

  • Purpose-driven work that changes lives and organization

  • A personal BetterUp Coach for every employee

  • A collaborative, values-led culture where growth and authenticity matter

  • Competitive compensation, equity, and benefits

  • Global exposure and the opportunity to shape BetterUp’s next phase of growth in EMEA
