Our Marketing Development Representative (MDR)  will be an integral part of our Marketing team in EMEA. This role is based remotely in the UK or Ireland.

The Opportunity
We’re looking for a highly motivated Marketing Development Representative (MDR) to join our growing team. This role sits at the intersection of marketing and sales, responsible for converting marketing-generated interest into qualified pipeline. You’ll engage with inbound leads, nurture prospects, and identify high-quality opportunities. 

This is an ideal role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys connecting with prospects, and wants to grow a career in tech sales or demand generation. 

Responsibilities

  • Follow up with inbound leads generated through campaigns, events, and content. 
  • Staff booths when required and represent the brand professionally. 
  • Conduct discovery conversations to understand business challenges and cloud needs. 
  • Schedule and hand off qualified meetings to Account Executives. 
  • Maintain high inbound conversion rate and strong SLA adherence (speed to lead performance).
  • Collaborate closely with marketing to provide feedback on lead quality and campaign performance. 
  • Maintain accurate records of activities and pipeline in CRM systems. 
  • Be an expert in tooling while maintaining clean data hygiene. 

Qualifications

  • 1-3 years of experience in a BDR, SDR, or MDR role. 
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to quickly understand technical concepts (cloud, DevOps, FinOps, are a plus).
  • Self-starter mindset with a drive to hit and exceed expectations. 

Bonus Points

  • Experience with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) and sales engagement platforms is a plus.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms - cloud practitioner is a huge plus.
  • Experience working closely with marketing teams on campaigns or lead follow-up.
