Job Description

About the Role

We're looking for a hands-on Marketing Associate – Audience to support the execution of integrated marketing campaigns that drive audience acquisition and engagement for our events portfolio within the renewables industry. Reporting to the Senior Marketing Manager, you'll play a key role in executing and deploying multi-channel campaigns effectively, optimising audience targeting, and supporting the delivery of measurable results.

Key Responsibilities

Campaign Execution & Support

  • Support the execution of integrated marketing campaigns across email, social media, paid channels, content, and digital platforms
  • Write and deploy persuasive, conversion-focused copy for emails, landing pages, and campaign touchpoints
  • Assist with event website optimisation, registration processes, and onsite marketing activities
  • Monitor campaign performance and support reporting on key metrics including conversion and engagement

Audience Targeting & Segmentation

  • Develop understanding of customer profiles, personas, and segmentation strategies
  • Support audience targeting activities using CRM and marketing automation platforms
  • Assist with data segmentation to ensure relevant messaging reaches the right audiences

Stakeholder & Partner Management

  • Liaise with internal teams, media partners, and external collaborators to ensure timely delivery of campaign assets
  • Support relationship building with media partners and industry associations to extend reach

Performance Monitoring & Optimisation

  • Track campaign performance and identify opportunities to optimise channels and tactics
  • Provide support by developing understanding of key marketing platforms and their functionality
  • Assist with testing and learning activities to continuously improve campaign effectiveness

Qualifications

What We're Looking For

Essential

  • 2–3 years B2B marketing experience, ideally with focus on events, conferences, or lead generation
  • Hands-on campaign execution across multiple channels and multiple events
  • Strong copywriting skills with focus on persuasive, conversion-oriented messaging
  • CRM and email platform proficiency (Eloqua desirable, or similar platforms such as Salesforce, HubSpot, Marketo)
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders
  • Highly organised with ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines

Desirable

  • Data-driven approach with ability to track and report on campaign performance
  • Knowledge of paid media platforms (LinkedIn Ads, Google Ads) and marketing attribution models
  • Familiarity with web CMS and basic SEO principles, digital marketing capabilities
  • Content marketing experience and ability to support content-led strategies
  • PR outreach and media relations experience

What Success Looks Like

  • Support the delivery of campaigns that drive delegate registration and revenue targets
  • Execute relevant messaging that resonates with target audiences and drives conversion
  • Contribute to achieving KPIs for registration, conversion, engagement, and ROI
  • Provide support through accurate tracking and reporting on campaign performance
  • Support best practice and contribute to innovation across marketing activities
