About the Role:

We’re seeking a Marketing and Events Specialist to join SciLeads. Working alongside the Marketing Manager you will assist with strategic marketing initiatives and ensure the seamless execution of events, collaborating across internal teams to support brand messaging, product marketing, and thought leadership.


Key Responsibilities: 

Event Planning

  • Lead the planning and execution of the annual Belfast Summit, managing logistics, budgeting, and vendor coordination 
  • Organise quarterly staff meetups in Belfast, Canada, and other locations 
  • Plan and execute our annual Life Science Awards which takes place in October
  • Coordinate customer meetups that happen around the world (and travel to them if that’s your thing)

Marketing

  • Manage SciLeads’ social media presence by creating and scheduling engaging content across various platforms
  • Develop and distribute newsletters featuring company updates, industry insights, and upcoming events 
  • Design marketing materials using Canva to support campaigns and brand initiatives 


Essential Skills and Experience: 

  • Proficiency with marketing tools (e.g., HubSpot, Canva, SEO tools, social media platforms etc)
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills 
  • Based in the United Kingdom 


Desirable Skills and Experience:

  • Experience in Tech/SaaS marketing and event planning  
  • Understanding of public relations and media outreach 
  • SEO and demand gen experience
