Job title: Freelance/Contract Marketing and Content Specialist

Location: Northampton Studio/Hybrid remote

Rate: £Depending on Experience

Hours: Flexible, with a set number of hours per week

Engine Creative is a multi-award-winning creative services and digital products studio specialising in developing the best AR/VR/XR immersive experiences, web systems, high-impact content, and creative digital solutions for brands.

The team is behind the virtual product experience platform “REYDAR” which brings life to products and events via augmented reality and virtual experiences, and we’re on a mission to supercharge customer engagements.

We are looking for a confident and forward-thinking Marketing and Content Specialist to support in the planning, execution, and optimisation of our online marketing efforts. As part of an award-winning creative team, you will help us take our unique agency proposition and our AR and Metaverse platform, REYDAR, to new audiences.

The ideal candidate will have the ability to launch new brands into the market, create awareness of product offerings, and define and reach target markets and ideal customers across multiple channels for our own IP and client brands. This position requires a hands-on professional capable of blending creativity and tech-savviness, and someone who can harness the latest technology to generate compelling content.

As well as having a passion for all things marketing and technology, you will be well-versed in the concepts surrounding digital marketing and bring fresh thinking and a positive attitude to the role.

Responsibilities

Content Creation:

  • Create written content including press releases, blog posts, case studies, and high-converting product landing pages.
  • Generate creative content ideas and deliver a range of high-quality copy, images, and videos.
  • Leverage AI and the latest AI generative tools to create content at scale.

Content Development & Distribution:

  • Utilise existing content including design assets, key images, process documents, storyboards, videos, AR, 3D, and virtual experiences.
  • Publish at least two pieces of content weekly across various formats.
  • Create, edit, and distribute videos and 3D model experiences for a broader audience.

Performance & Analytics Reporting:

  • Provide regular reports and data analysis for all marketing activities.
  • Measure the performance of digital marketing efforts using a variety of analytics tools.
  • Report on insights gained to drive continuous performance improvements.
  • Research and develop strategies aligned with the latest digital marketing trends.

SEO & Digital Marketing:

  • Take ownership of SEO, including keyword research and on/off-page optimisation.
  • Plan, launch, and optimise paid online ad campaigns (Google, LinkedIn).
  • Plan our social media strategy to build presence and engagement.

Collaboration & Strategy:

  • Support the development of marketing strategies aimed at generating interest in our products and services.
  • Collaborate with directors, creative, and digital teams to enhance the performance of digital channels.

Market Introduction & Awareness:

  • Launch new brands to generate awareness within target markets.
  • Define target markets, ideal customers, and channels for effective reach.
  • Establish industry connections and partnerships to promote our brands and new product or service offerings.
  • Generate promotional content for Engine Creative, REYDAR, Immersive Learning Platform and other own IP brands, manage SEO efforts, and submit entries for industry awards.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in a marketing based role.
  • Excellent understanding of digital marketing concepts and best practices.
  • Experience with B2B social media, Google Ads, and SEO/SEM.
  • Good knowledge of web analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics).
  • Skills and experience in creative content writing.
  • Experience with Generative AI tools, Video Editing Software, Adobe Creative Suite, Social Platforms
  • Passion for technology, ideally in AR/VR/3D/games/culture
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A degree or equivalent in marketing or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Experience with AI and the latest AI generative tools to create written content and workflows
