Marsh Re Ratings Advisory & Market Intelligence team forms and integral part of Marsh Re Business Intelligence function, providing insights into current global (re)insurance market conditions, trends, counterparty creditworthiness, and risks that influence our clients' business needs.

Our team is looking for a Market Security specialist to strengthen our global Market Intelligence function, in charge of providing insights into reinsurance markets to brokers and clients.

We will count on you to:

  • We seek an experienced market security analyst eager to balance client-facing work with analytical projects. You will support clients and brokers in understanding reinsurer security, by analysing and providing data to support them in making informed decisions regarding their reinsurer selection.

  • Working mainly within Market Intelligence, you’ll collaborate with the wider Ratings Advisory team, other Global Analytics & Advisory division, broking teams, Marsh Re Securities, and occasionally Marsh Risk, Mercer, and Oliver Wyman.

  • Lead the creation and review of analytical reports on (re)insurance companies for brokers and clients.

  • Help in keeping Marsh Re market security platform up to date.

  • Respond to brokers’ and clients’ questions regarding reinsurance markets in a timely manner.

  • Present market insights and findings to stakeholders.

  • Conduct research and data analysis and produce newsletters and research notes on reinsurers.

  • Build and maintain relationships with brokers, (re)insurers, and clients.

  • Additional responsibilities include attending rating agency events and managing large financial datasets to generate actionable insights.

What you need to have:

  • Deep (re)insurance industry knowledge from experience working in an insurer’s or broker’s market security department, with rating agencies, advisory firms, or consultancies specialising in reinsurer analysis.

  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

  • Experience with LLMs or AI tools to enhance efficiency is a plus.
