As the first key hire under the Transfer Pricing Lead, you will play a pivotal role in building and scaling our UK Transfer Pricing practice. This is a unique opportunity to join at an early stage and contribute directly to the growth, direction, and success of the function.
Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with the Transfer Pricing Lead to execute the growth strategy for the UK practice, identifying opportunities within the existing client base and supporting new business proposals
- Support business development activities to drive growth, working collaboratively with other teams
- Design and implement robust transfer pricing policies for a diverse portfolio of international clients
- Lead functional analysis interviews and manage the delivery of high-quality TP deliverables and documentation (Local Files, Master Files, etc.) in line with UK legislation and OECD guidelines
- Support cross-border financing engagements, including UK thin capitalisation analysis and interest rate benchmarking
- Manage economic analysis and benchmarking processes using industry-standard TP databases
- Act as a key point of contact for clients, maintaining strong relationships through proactive and responsive communication
- Draft high-quality technical reports with strong attention to detail and clarity of communication
Background & Experience
- ACA-qualified or equivalent professional certification
- Strong understanding of current UK transfer pricing legislation and the evolving OECD landscape
- Experience with thin capitalisation rules and intercompany financing is advantageous
- Proficiency in using transfer pricing databases to identify and analyse comparable data
