The Manager, Strategy will work with teams across the Strategy & Operations function and with business units and regions throughout Global Markets to identify solutions to Mastercard's most significant commercial opportunities and challenges. Together with project teams, this individual will work on the key strategic priorities of the Global Markets organization, spanning 200+ markets.
Over the course of each project, the individual is expected to gather and analyze information, formulate and test hypotheses, and develop and communicate recommendations. The Manager will also present results to Global Markets leadership and implement recommendations in collaboration with relevant team members.

You will join a globally distributed strategy team spanning London, New York, and Dubai, working directly with Global Markets leadership
Reporting to: Vice President, Strategy, Global Markets
Key responsibilities• Contribute to the development of the Global Markets execution framework against enterprise strategy• Participate in identifying key strategic priorities across Global Markets• Support the planning and investment-prioritization process behind regional market plans, including the growth algorithm and the country plan framework• Develop project roadmaps to meet the strategic targets and financial commitments of the Global Markets organization• Lead key projects with subject-matter experts across Global Markets and regional teams - for example go-to-market strategy for priority growth areas, cross-border, segment strategy, and market re-entry• Structure ambiguous problems and take action to solve them• Derive insights, storyboard, and build visually compelling presentations with clear logic and structure, grounded in data• Synthesize complex information into clear takeaways and recommendations using both qualitative and quantitative methods• Work effectively with diverse teams across regions and time zones to reach the best solution and move Global Markets functions and regions to act• Establish trust-based relationships with internal clients to better serve their organizations• Communicate effectively with all audiences, including senior leaders, in a structured manner• Develop your leadership style, leveraging your own passions, strengths, and personal values
